Im smoke free, after one full week.  I've heard so many stories about people quitting . Whats yours ?

The best thing about quitting is :
My hair no longer smells like smoke :)

when I moved from south Fl to the mountains and couldn't get the krypto anymore.

If you have made it a week, you can do it.  I quit cold turkey 18 years ago this past May.  Hardest thing was drinking beer and not smoking.  Once I got through that, it was easy.

for me is that once I quit, and got over the first couple of days, I didn't miss it.

Best thing?  No more of that hassle.  By the time I quit, it was anything but convenient to smoke, since I couldn't smoke in the office, couldn't smoke in a restaurant, couldn't smoke in a cab....  whenever I wanted to smoke it was an ordeal.

And nor does your coochie!

Besides being a good thing for you, it is also Great for everyone around you. Bravo, Bravo and Congrats!!!!!  My thoughts your way  ~T

I quit cold turkey on August 8, 2005 at 4:45 PM.  The best and worst thing I ever did. I got so so sick between weeks 6 and 12.
Notwithstanding....No regrets....You should be very very proud of yourself.

Best of Luck

Congrats!  The first week is a milestone.  Keep up the good work!

My advice to all who want to quit - do it sooner rather than later.  This really is my 5th time (and I'm in my 5th week).  Every time has been harder than before.  That's what is keeping me going this time.  I don't want to have to go through this hell again.

It can be done - just have to make it throught the tough spots.  Hardest thing is finding some substitute at those times when a smoke seems so right! I had to quit drinking first, made quitting smoking easier.  Can't stand to be around it anymore.  Still feel that if I had one today I'd be back to a pack a day tomorrow.  Best thing is no longer cough up tar balls!

...going on 8 hours now. I think I've got it licked this time.

Congrats!!  A good start.. ;)  All that beautiful hair.. deserves to be played with and sniffed clean. ;)

I quit for 2 months and then forgot to buy the patch one day. A friend left a pack in my car and have been smoking even more than before ever since.

One of these days I'm going to quit again. Just not today. Work's killing me.
