Its still in the box.  I know there are two ways to activate it.  One is online and one is via a phone call.  

What is the best way to activate it that keeps it anonymous?

If I do it via a phone call, can it be done from a pay phone.   I'm not about to use it immediately so I have time to think about it and do it correctly.

I would not do it online as it could be tied to you.  You should be able to activate it from a pay phone or you could use a phone that is available to a lot of other people (not at work) such as a restaurant.

I would activate by phone.  The last time I activated one by phone it did ask me for my name and address.  I guess I could have lied and just made one up but instead I just stayed on the line but didn't say anything and after awhile the automated system just skipped over that part.
