Curse words in other languages usually make me smile--like "blad," the Russian term for whore. It just doesn't sound offensive. It sounds rather like a combination of "blah" and "blob." And how could you forget "tramp"? And I thought a "trick" was a client.
Depending on who you talk to I am either a "hobbyist", "client", "trick", "john", or a guy that "has to pay for it."
Those terms don't actually offend me, even though they may or may not be pejorative in nature, or even necessarily accurate. (I don't "have" to pay for it, really. Unless we are talking about a hot little spinner who's younger than my daughters; but that's still more of a choice really. LMAO!)
But what I'm dismayed about is there are only about a half dozen terms, and they aren't that colorful to boot. I'm being slighted because of my position as a buyer in the equation here. On the other hand, the ladies have a plethora of terms to choose to be identified by or be offended by, as the case may be. It's just not fair!
Here's what I mean. Just take a look at some of the colorful terms the sellers can choose from:

Yes I know it was a saying from long ago. That never materialized, IMO it was a distraction from the real issues of the time. I still don't see the relation, of PLD to what goes on here.
Some of the terms are historical. It really shows the double-standard that has always existed whereby the woman is demonized but the man is not. The woman is considered low class for selling, while the man is just being a man. Which is all utter bullshit!
That social dichotomy is not misogynistic is nature either, as "regular" women have held that view, sometimes with an even stronger condemnation of prostitutes than men. That is the view that whores are trash and that men who see them are just being men. Frankly that entire societal view make me sick. It needs to change
