Blacklist-is there such a thing?

Been reading a number of posts in different threads. A common theme is providers who threaten to blacklist a guy and guys who are worried about blacklisting. I understand a provider can blacklist by keeping a private note about a guy and never booking.

Curious about this. But how does a provider blacklist a guy so other providers know? Is it when provider 2 calls provider 1 for a reference check? Is there a website that providers post up onto so new providers can check up? What if a guy is on some blacklist, how does he know and can he dispute it?

Would be interested to know what a provider can know about us guys. How can a guy see what a provider knows about the guy? Do you ask a provider during a session about her secret access to any website?

PM privately if you want.

But even providers will tell you websites similar to mongers' review sites exist for list bad clients. Even on TER there is the provider's forum where I suspect the girls talk among themselves about what are good and bad clients.

As for how you can see it, you could spend hours searching the web and, assuming you currently lack them, developing basic hacking skills to circumvent the security on some of the more poorly setup sites or you could just go read twitter from what I hear on these forums with some frequency. Those would be "general exposure" to that type of information. But if you're looking for what might be written about you specifically that is probably a harder nut to crack.

Of course, if you're on really good terms with some regular you have been seeing for years, she might be willing to check your status and let you know who says what, but might be one of those Catch-22 cases where she would only be willing to do something like that for the type of person that would never ask for it.

Here's a thread from a popular social media site on that very subject.
