No provider should be fearful of a positive review.  I've seen some posts here from providers who avoid clients who post reviews.  I hope they meant negative reviews.  A positive review does a fantastic job in generating clients for a provider.  A positive review is based on a provider being truely genuine with a client.  Providers who provide lousy company, such as answering their cell phone during their time with a client, deserve a bad review.

As for me, my thinking is to write only positive reviews to focus on those fantastic providers that other clients want to see.  Why waste energy on the bad providers?  I do extensive research on my potential providers to determine if we would be a great mental and physical match for each other.  I communicate with my potential providers to form a positive mental connection before seeing them.

Seeing a provider is not putting a notch in one's belt, but instead finding a beautiful woman to connect with mentally and physically where the encounter is mutually pleasing.

I have yet to write a review as a new TER VIP member since I have yet to meet my first provider, but I hope that providers I will see are proud of the positive reviews I will give them, and would be proud to give me a white list referral.

Dear providers, some of us men here aren't jaded, but feel like they are so honored to be in the presence of a beautiful and kind woman with a sensual mind and body.

Thanks for the sage words straight from the almanac of I've never seen a provider.  Dude, negative reviews are 10 times more important to the community than positive ones are.  I sure as hell don't want to hear that she shits cucumbers and plays a tune with her tits unless it's all true.  So, you've already decided that providers get good reviews or no reviews.  Thanks for nothing.  All the rip off bitches out there love a guy like you.

that he likes to review providers that stand out.. are above the norm per say..
hmm.. maybe I lost something in translation??

What was lost in translation was this:

I have yet to write a review as a new TER VIP member since I have yet to meet my first provider.
One cannot  "like to review providers that stand out...are above yhe norm per say..."  until one actually sees a provider.

All he is saying is what he hopes and dreams of, and what he thinks things should be like. Once he actually books and sees a few providers, reality will come rushing in like a hot kiss at the end of a wet fist.

No, he's saying he plans on doing his homework and avoiding the low likelihood of success encounters.

It's constantly a source of amusement to me how many guys have such a high rate of bad reviews.  It's as if, no matter how many sessions they have, they haven't learned how to be an informed consumer.

I haven't had to write a bad review in a long time.  I'll write one if I have a bad session, but doing essentially what the OP describes I have had very few bad ones over the years and most those were when I let another guy pick for me.

I'm not saying a bad session is the guy's fault once he entered the room, but I am saying most bad sessions were preventable with some homework.

Sounds to me the OP is wise beyond his reviews.

STOP FREEKIN' TOFTT!!!!
I mean, Geez!!!! How hard can it be to figure this out.  If a lady has mostly 9's and 10's...chances are pretty good you'll have a great time!  You see 5 & 6's....probably not.

But then you say..."But 9's and 10's cost more!".   Well.....Duh!!!!!!   Oh, you mean you want a Rolex, but you only shop at Walmart?

Big Surprise!!!! You get what you pay for.  So....if you only want to write good reviews, then just see good girls!  I'd much rather over spend and have a great time, than under spend and bitch!!

hahaha that is so true...I spent $250 on an independent named Lana and she was HORRIBLE and recently I seen an Asian girl from petite dreams for $500 and she knocked my socks off...its really true you get what you pay for. I don't think I'm gonna be cheap again

That being said, I am starting to understand the risk and headache involved with posting honest reviews.  I just received veiled threats from a provider, who has implied that she can trace my phone number thru intellus.com.  This is the second time I've had retaliatory responses.  The review will be removed at my request.  I don't need this shit.

You know not the joys nor pain of the courtesan experience. Yet you choose to enlighten us all with wisdom you have not yet gained.
It is only one who watches the flower bloom that can attempt to describe it's struggle and eventual conquest which blooms into beauty.

Or, in other words.....

As of yet, your dick hasn't even been wet.
Speak about a connection, and haven't even used your erection.
You haven't met lazy, and you haven't met crazy.
Not hit up for a loan, or had no answer on the phone.
Not heard stories of how she's a mother, or tasted the rubber of another.
Haven't done this enough to know, why some people use the word ho.
Never been stood up, had a knock at the door interrupt, or been denied a second cup.
In short, you're just a pup.
Maybe you should shut the fuck up.

The pebble is still in my hand.
You are not ready, Grasshopper.

OMG! ROLMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!! You hit the nail on the head Master! Where's the popcorn?!

While I am somewhat sympathetic to the aims of the OP; the wisdom of Master_Po in this cannot be denied.

let me tell you a story.....

once upon a time i had a session with a predatory, manipulative drama queen of a provider: X. i wrote a fair review that documented how she was using information about another provider Y to try to create some sort of pressure. she made much of it up. the stories were colorful and i recognized them as stories that provider Y had told me about a difficult BF. anyone who knows me at all would know they are impossible. i did not tell the stories in the review, BTW, just noted there were unpleasant stories, i was really POed, and would never repeat.

occasionally i would hear from a reviewer that they thought some ladies would be put off from seeing me because of the review. initially my take was that if a lady couldn't handle my telling things as they are, that it might be a good thing to not see her. eventually i was persuaded and hounded TER into withdrawing my unfavorable review.

that's when the real trouble started. without the negative review documenting her drama provider X started propagating her falsehoods to everyone i might see. she undid several arrangements that i made and so forth. finally a lady or two told my what provider X was saying and i took countermeasures and directly refuted them.

misbehavior needs to be documented. it protects the client and it rewards the ladies with superior discretion and business ethics.

It sounds plusible that no lady should be afraid of a positive review.  However, positive, is relative.
And some ladies do not want to be reviewed at all for reasons of privacy. That's their call as long as they are not advertising here or participating on the boards.

A positive review is based on whatever is positive to the reviewer. What you want from an encounter, and what I want, may be different. Each of us has different hopes and expectations and priorities.

if you intend to write only positive reviews, what are you going to do when you are treated poorly by a provider. Wait - don't tell me - you don't think that will happen? We'll see. BUT if it does happen, you OWE it to the rest of us to report the negatives in your review. You after all will be depending on our reviews to help you shop.... I hope. If not, your career as a hobbyist will be interesting and probably brief lol.

So - how do you research? By reading our reviews or by a crystal ball?  If you are using our reviews, but will not reciprocate by letting us know when you encounter a problem, you are a leach.

I wonder how you are "communicating extensively" with providers before you meet them. They are businesswomen - the best of them anyway - the ones who are busy lol.  I have a hard time believing that most of them want to "communicate extensively" with a tire-kicker. They have too many of those to deal with as it is. Most professional ladies just want your screening information and desired dates to meet.  RESPECT the ladies and don't waste their time.

Seeing a provider is about whatever the individual hobbyist thinks its about. That's their choice. As long as the lady is compensated, and treated well - she does not likely care why you see her. I assure you that I treat providers just as well as you imagine treating them but I've got a helluva lot of notches on the old belt.....

Yep, I'd like to connect with a beautiful woman - physically. Its a fantasy. I'm there for the physical. Relating - sure. That makes it nice. Friendly? you bet. But beyond that is just a bit too much like "girlfriend experience" lol.  When you bring too much reality into it, it just does not work very well.

I CAN TELL can tell that you have yet to meet your first provider lol.

Why do you think that providers would think that "most of us men here ARE jaded"  That is the logical reciprocal of your statement. I've seen over 100 providers in a little over two years. I'm not jaded. Each encounter is special to me. I don't take any of them for granted. BUT I will write a negative review if it is warranted.  And I do not romanticize the hobby - which is essentially a business transaction  - fee for service. Yes it gets better than that sometimes, goes beyond that sometimes. But the fundamental nature of the transaction remains critical to keeping perspective and hobbying both successfully and safely.

I wish you good luck....

GTM

"As for me, my thinking is to write only positive reviews to focus on those fantastic providers that other clients want to see.  Why waste energy on the bad providers?"

I would have thought this was obvious, but mediocre and negative reviews are extremely valuable to your fellow clients. As with music, food, films or other creative endeavors, reviews of providers should give a potential client an idea of what to expect.

Of the four reviews I have posted on here only one would be considered negative, and it is for a girl that has gotten otherwise positive write-ups. That doesn't mean the other reviewers were shills or lying. I think it's that what is important to them isn't what's important to me and they were comfortable with her style, while I wasn't.

I wish someone like myself had reviewed her previously, but at least now my input can tell the next guy with my mindset what to expect.

To not review sub-par providers is to give them a pass.

I think Im ready to be a hobbyist. I know I can do it. I was born to do it. But with me, things will be different...

My fertile imagination mixed with my unfullfilled desire has let me to believe that no provider should be fearful of a positive review. I've seen some posts here from providers who avoid clients who post reviews. Having no understanding of mondo hobby, I hope they meant negative reviews. There just couldn't be any other situation, right?

Because a good restaurant review will result in more diners, it must follow that a positive review does a fantastic job in generating clients for a provider. I'm sure that's all any provider wants, more men and the chance to  do an even better job, until everyone knows she's the one.

I've read on the MSN that what all men want is to really know a woman, and vice versa. So I know a positive review is based on a provider being truely genuine with a client, really just being themselves, whether they think the man is ugly or old or boring, or has no game. Just keep it real. That's what men are willing to pay for. That is what they don't get at home and in civvie life.

Providers who provide lousy company, such as answering their cell phone during their time with a client, they deserve a bad review. Can you imagine how that would ruin your whole session. Thats what I do, imagine. And my imagination is always right.

Even though there is a wealth of knowledge here that says otherwise, my thinking is to write only positive reviews to focus on those fantastic providers that other clients want to see. As I sit at my computer, and dream of whirlwind romance, no strings attached, with the beautiful ladies of my choosing, my daydream says to me "Why waste energy on the bad providers?" Not me, brother. Not one drop of my precious white energy.

I am so glad I can think! I mean, I CAN THINK! Even though I have not actually done this yet, I will someday be able to say that I do extensive research on my potential providers to determine if we would be a great mental and physical match for each other. Im thinking hard about that right now.And I will be successful and never disappointed. Why? Well I am going to do somthing these other guys don't! I will communicate with my potential providers. And they will communicate  with me! Women love a man who talks and expresses his innermost feelings. Even if it takes several long conversations to form a positive mental connection before seeing them. That is the part I think about the most. That conhection. Just think of it.

In my mind, where everything revolves around how I believe things ought to be, how I want them to be, seeing a provider is not putting a notch in one's belt, but instead finding a beautiful woman to connect with mentally and physically where the encounter is mutually pleasing. Like marriage, but without the bridesmaids .

I have yet to write a review as a new TER VIP member since I have yet to meet my first provider.

Let me repeat that...

I have yet to write a review as a new TER VIP member...

since I have yet to meet my first provider.

In other words this IS my first rodeo...

As in, Ive never been on a horse...

but that doesn't mean I don't have this whole thing figured out.

I'm different... special... one of a kind... and I hope that providers I will see are proud of the positive reviews I will give them, and would be proud to give me a white list referral.

Dear providers, I am speaking to every last one of you, even the less than fantastic ones, some of us men here -- and by that I mean specifically me -- aren't jaded, but feel like they are so honored to be in the presence of a beautiful and kind woman with a sensual mind and body.

I am coming soon Ladies. Watch for me. You will know me. Others may be your John, be I... I will be your Jesus.

:)

may i have a discount because i guarantee only positive reviews?

not saying it is a fact, but it might be a possibility.

Jesus ... or a provider who's gotten a bunch of negative reviews and created a non-provider account to try and convince clients to stop saying what they think on a REVIEW BOARD.

Because seriously, the OP's post reads as much like a provider who can't quite write like a guy as it does a clueless newbie guy who's trying to suck up to the providers.

You sure do like stirring the shit pot with a shit covered stick!

What good is a review system that only blows sunshine up a provider's skirt? Not very objective.

Furthermore, you hurt MY business when you don't write a bad review of a rip off. How you ask? Since you didn't write up a review of your experience, some other poor schmuck is going to waste his money on her. That is time and money he could have been spending with a legit lady (like myself) instead.

Its not just the positive reviews I recieve that help, its also the weeding out of rip offs and non-GFE providers that also help legit ladies.

The review system exists first and foremost for the hobbyist to use in determining who to see.  While many positive reviews are certainly beneficial for ladies that have them, you should not be writing these primarily for their benefit.  You are writing them for your fellow hobbyists so that we know what to expect when we are looking to see a lady.  That was the original intent of the creation of TER in the first place.  Remember, it is we hobbyists that are paying here!

Also, since you state that you have never seen a provider, your credibility is non-existent, and posting this sort of stuff on the GD board is going to bring you under fire.  Why is it that I am thinking of Phineas T. Barnum's most famous quote?  And Joni Mitchell's take on that?

Some of you fuckers have real talent. I wish I knew where you could market it to make some extra cash for your hobby. If any of you other guys know, tell me too. Now THAT would be helping out your fellow hobbyists.

Seriously, I'm still wiping the tears of laughter from my eyes. So I'm almost hesitant to admit this. I still think of myself as a relative newbie, but unlike the Grasshopper, I've been at this a little while, about a year and a half. I've seen twenty providers, most of them repeatedly and mostly because they were good. Like really, amazingly good! I have not yet written a review here but I have written a number of them elsewhere. I have not reviewed every provider I've seen and certainly not every encounter.  But the reviews I've written were all of wonderful experiences. It's that simple. I have yet to have a bad experience. I know, I know, it will probably happen. And if (when) it does, I'll probably write a negative review.

But I've done what you old hands always emphasize and some of what the Grasshopper suggested. I did my research, got some verifications and some good references, and practiced some effective communication skills beforehand. And, yes - I've been lucky. I have had a couple of missed connections but when the providers made timely and sincere efforts to make it right, I enjoyed the efforts and - yes, I admit - did not detail the missteps in the subsequent reviews (if I wrote one). It sounds as though some think I should have done so.

But here's the honest truth: providing a public service to my buds in the hobby is not my primary motivation for writing reviews. It's pure selfishness. I benefit. I get access to more information about the providers while providing an additional data set for screening. Since I do tend to be a repeater, the providers I have reviewed have either demonstrated genuine appreciation or faked it really goddamned well.

When I began the hobby, I did not write reviews. Then a provider asked me if I might write her one. I was happy to oblige. I also have obliged a couple of providers who preferred not to be reviewed at all and a couple others who asked me not to include details, especially about anal. I have honored those wishes because I have not seen reviews as something I provide for you guys (beyond the entertainment value, of course). They may be published in a public forum, but reviews are part of the satisfactory transactions between the ladies and myself.

Obviously, this cuts against the grain of some the expressed opinions about the purpose of reviews. It certainly helps explain my disquiet about assigning numerical ratings - as if there is some kind of industry standard involved here.

You have no reviews here.  Thanks for posting...your credibility is zero.  And it will remain that way, at least among your fellow hobbyists, assuming you are one.

I have also had a provider refuse to see me because of her review of my reviews.  Her ratings are very high, and I think she feared getting a lesser one would hurt her overall average.  I believe she didn't want to risk it.  The sad thing is, I give out pretty nice ratings, when they are justified.

And it could have been that she saw something she didn't like. I could care less about scores...I look for what a guy does, how he does it and whether I want to see him based on just that. Then again your assumption could very well be right on the money, but don't discount she just may not have liked what she read and didn't want to deal with it/you.
