Everytime i get into a chat room, i get to stay for maybe a minute then no messages are posted.  When I try to say something, nothing shows up on my screen but apparently the people in the room can read them.  Then I get the message "Socket read failed", followed by my last message sent, over and over again.

Can anyone help me?  Is it a problem with my computer?  It's driving me nuts!!  Thanks in advance.

It appears a lot of other people are having the same problem, certainly there are way fewer people in chat lately.  I spoke with at least three others who are regulars in chat and they are all having the same problem, so it seems unlikely that it is a problem that only my computer has.  Has something changed in the chat that may be causing this?

It happens to a LOT of people, but not everyone.
Staff is investigating (I hope).

There is a problem with the location that hosts our chat server combined with a problem on the chat server itself.  We are working on the problem and should have it resolved in the next few days. (we hope)
