Purelust, who is banned from TER for harrassing women, is at it again! I just found out that has been impersonating me, Luscious Laurel. He has been writing to people, using a Hotmail email address that I abandoned long ago, pretending to be me. He has been sending deceptive emails to ladies, tricking them and using them to turn people against each other. I don’t know yet who else he might have been conned or hurt with his scheme.

Purelust has been harrassing several of us ladies for some time. He is devious and relentless and has been described as a stalker.
If anyone else has been contacted by someone claiming to be me at a Hotmail address in the past year, please let me know. I would appreciate hearing from you. My email address is [email protected], which is listed on my website and on my TER profile.
OMG..!! That sounds like what I have been going through..!!!! Only the jerk that's stalking me, is the ass I hired to work on my website(See my plea on the Legal Board)After changing all my passcodes and locking me out of everything,costing me lots of time to repair everything, he now has been writing to everyone affiliated with me, telling them that he's my webmaster and all comunication will go through him until farther notice...He also checks the TER boards, and has been mailing my postings back to me, along with nasty, threatening comments..!!!!This weekend has been strange to say the least..!!! I'm glad to know that TER can ban these guys, I haven't done that , but that may be next. What is up with these unhappy people without a life of their own..?? How pathetic they are, abusing others for their pleasure...But Laurel, I refuse to let this make me bitter and paranoid...Plus, I believe in Kharma. So know, girl, you have someone on your side. It is upsetting to me that someone has been impersonating me and making me look bad, but he also hurt the people he deceived and manipulated. Mean people suck!
I'm sorry for your annoyance / cyberstalker / problems. Hope they get worked out.
Just a comment. In my experience, 2 different people have used the Purelust nickname in the recent past -- 1 of them likely the problem person who is hacking you, and who was making a calc off of the other one, who is probably innocent and likely now has the good sense to have come back to the community with an entirely different nickname. So, some old Purelust commentary may (or may not) be more valid than other.
Yes, "Pureslut" pretended not to be Purelust when I confronted him on another board a month or so back. He said, "No, I am not him but I know who you speak of..let me check with him about what happened to his review of you and I will get back and post it on this board." It was so hilariously obvious then that it was him it was like dealing with a 5 yearold child. I knew it was just a matter of time and sure enough, futher down in the thread "Pureslut" loses it and starts posting to me saying ,"My review was real! I walked out because you suck etc etc blah blah blah..." it was hilarious. The moderator was too kind to remove the thread since it made him look borderline psychzophrenic and basically made an ass out of himself. But what else is new? The moderator told him he better come back under an alias and leave all this crap in the past. What a @#&*%$#. And Laurel, I hope you get your issue with him resolved without much problem. I know I went through hell last summer with my whole ordeal.
PureLust took the name PureSlut on another site (I think he was banned as PureLust there). Here on TER, he was often annoying, and some people mocked him, using aliases such as PureSlut, PureDust and PureLost, which angered him. Here is the link to one of the discussions:
Sorry, I didn't mean to say that there were two Purelusts AT TER. I meant to say, that ON OTHER BOARDS in my experience in the distant past, there have been at least two people who have posted as "Pure Lust" or some similar name.
It happens all the time, so I was just warning people that if they encounter a seemingly genuine "Pure Lust" (OR "Pure Slut," for that matter) elsewhere, not to dismiss him / her / it immediately. The "good" PureLust was a pal of mine, and he had to disappear BECAUSE OF the ridiculous psychotic machinations of the "bad" one.
Another example, is myself. I have held the @yahoo address under my name for almost a decade. However, on some boards that shall remain nameless, a while back, someone took offense at some of my comments and, as reprisal, created the book_guy user-name at Hotmail and a few other locales and then pretended to post as me. Consequently, if there's ever a dispute, I recommend to all reading that, if they wish, they can always check with me at the REAL book_guy's email address, @yahoo.com, to have confirmation sent as to the authenticity of any given post.
But don't just write me off (or PureLust) for a single statement written over my signature. The 'net is too full of wonkies, to be that quick to judge. That's all I'm suggesting.
