Just in the category of interesting stuff that happens in the day-to-day hobby:

--I drove to a hotel to see a provider, found what I thought might be a legit parking spot.  Saw a cop on the other side of the street, hanging out in his car.  Asked him if it was an ok spot. He said yes.  And then he added -- have a good time tonight and stay safe (it was a bad weather night).  I go inside the hotel, come out an hour later, and he is still sitting there, we exchange waves/nods as I get back in the car and leave.

--The next week, a provider gives me an address that is a hotel and tells me to stay in the car when I get there until she contacts me.  I get there, we connect by phone and she gives me driving directions to where she actually is, where to park, where to walk, etc., the whole time with me on the phone with her.  I am suspicious that this is a set up -- if someone were watching, they could see me leave the hotel area, drive as directed, park, walk as directed, etc.  I almost bail on the whole thing.  But I keep reminding myself that this provider has about 20 reviews (many from people who I know have given totally legit reviews in the past) in the last month or two, so I keep going on. Sure enough, she tells me to walk into the room, and I do, and it is her and we have a great time.

Never a dull moment!

I was in the middle of an appointment having a great time when hotel security knocked on the door.  The girl was behind on paying her hotel bill.  The short story is...she said all the wrong things thru the door and the police were called.  I was questioned separate from the girl and thankfully we both kept our mouths shut.  She got kicked out of the hotel and the police escorted us both out the front door.

I would have liked to see this girl again, but she vanished and never returned [to Boston] after that.
