"If Plan A Fails, Go To Plan B® (levonorgestrel).
Plan B® is an emergency contraceptive or 'morning-after pill'. It can prevent pregnancy if taken within 72 hours after unprotected sex (if a contraceptive fails or if no contraception is used). Plan B® contains levonorgestrel, which is a synthetic hormone (progestin) commonly used in birth control pills. Plan B® is not the same as an abortion pill. It does not work if you are already pregnant. Plan B® does not protect against sexually transmitted diseases. Plan B® should not be used in place of regular contraception. Correct and consistent use of regular contraception would be more effective. "

It's helpful to understand that Plan B exists.  There are a couple of issues with it:  1) Getting the prescription quickly, and 2) Nausea and vomiting associated with it.

To solve the first problem, there are a couple of websites available which will ask you to respond to questions about your health issues, and route the Rx to the pharmacy of your choice.

With regard to the nausea and vomiting, not much help.  If you need it, very helpful to know that it exists.  Docs have been accomplishing the same goal with multiple birth control pills in cases of rape etc, but this product makes it a little easier.
