We've been having this envelope debate here for many years now, when the debate first started I was called a misogynist, disrespectful, stupid, clueless, the list goes on and on for my criticism of the all important envelope, and there wasn't one in a hundred people here, man or woman who would take my side on this issue.

That really sucks and sorry that happened to you. There is no way that story is not BS and any  understanding or sympathy should be given on your part.

Let me go a step further - I really want the lady to count the money before I leave, preferably in front of me. I have shorted a lady on a couple of occasions, or at least had a lady tell me I shorted her (I can never be sure, but I tend to believe that over the course of 10 years and what must be hundreds of dates, I screwed up once or twice). One time she looked at the money and told me before I left, so I gave her the rest.

Not hard and not a big deal. Me, I use the evelope with a greeeting card of appreciation and a note of thanks, oh and of course with the "gift"..It's not my style to open my wallet, lick my fingers and snap out hundreds, or in your case and wad of 20's and just throw it on the night stand...I'm sure in the hooches of Costa Rica you can slip it under a pineapple or something. I would blacklist him INSTANTLY. That's ridiculous. You have me rethinking my stance on envelopes lol. This happens to a lot of girls in this business though. You have a client for awhile, you get relaxed and they take liberties. I am guilty of maybe being a little less vigilant than I should be regulars myself.

I count it 3 times & then put a big paperclip on it to keep it together.  It's in my key pocket, not my wallet.  I don't hand it to her, just put it on the dresser as usual practice.  With a Fav lady, often it'll remain until we are through playing.  Sometimes in the back & forth of dressing & bathroom visits it might disappear (without me seeing it picked up) or not...  I don't specifically watch.      

I never put money in an envelop. I always hand Cash to the provider. I tell her what amount the Cash is. 99.9 percent of the time they don't count it in front of me. I always pay in the agreed amount.

I personally have never used one. Then I got tired of them counting it in front of me when I handed it to them. These days when the session is over I open my wallet and count it out in front of them then I throw it on the nightstand. Not a one has ever refused a return visit.

I've never even wanted the famed envelope with "gift" or our names written on them to me it screams with big flashing lights p4p, hooker, p4p, hooker. LE aren't stupid or as uninformed as many think. To me it seems more prudent to carry the $$ in your wallet as one normally would and just lay it down visibly for inspection upon arrival. Tell me what's the difference as ladies see it? I sure dont either way its cash on the table, except without the envelope you can at least serif it. Looks fake

Thank u so much for posting about this incident. What's surprising is that u saw him twice before this occurred. I guess that's his way of gaining your trust. After this posting, I will make sure to check the envelope in the beginning. The thing is that some guys get so offended by that. I'm guessing it is best that it is left somewhere where the provider can count the cash privately.

I have never used an envelope, nor do I ever intend to.  

Some johns sensitive feelings over paying and me checking the money do not count. If he is that much of a pansy ass and he never comes back, well win, win.  

simply sends the message that the guy is not trying to be "sneaky" and I would expect most ladies feel that they can relax knowing that they won't have to worry about getting paid, or if the envelope is short, or anything else except getting down to providing a great session.

I used to use envelopes and didn't see an issue with it, but now I bring them a good book and the $$ is the bookmark so it's easy to see.
