The issues with some screening forms is they are sent through cyberspace to the unknown? So somewhere at some future time someone could get their hands on a clients personal information...so it is HIGHLY advisable on the spot on your site by the form have an email link near....You can ask the same questions...but the email goes straight to you....or ask the same screening questions via some other means of communication. I realize that the same thing could happen to an email, but some of the forms are specifically designed to go elsewhere...its kinda scary when you trace them....and GAWD help you if you have a template site.

I have a form on my site, and just above it I have a huge email link. 99% of my clients never fill out the form, they just email me all the information....technically it makes me no difference and didn't cost me a dime to have the option there...but it would have cost me dearly to NOT have it there.

A session is scheduled, confirmed by email the night before, and that morning don't return any emails, texts or phone calls? Then come up with some lame excuse, and later beg to reschedule. Only to blow off the next appointment as well?

Why do hobbyists go through the hassle of going through a provider's website and filling out the screening/contact/appointment form, then after a time is set, and the provider calls you to confirm and get the address, you never answer, return the call, send an email to cancel or ANYTHING?!? OR go back and forth with a provider for hours KNOWING in her AD she says OUTCALL ONLY or INCALL ONLY and ask her if she offers the latter?

I mean honestly, guys, for some of us, this is our livelihood, and depend on this, why not show some CONCIDERATION or respect and at least text and cancel. OR please just stop yanking a girl's chains trying to waste her time, she could have booked an appointment with someone else....   I'M just ranting, guy, dont take it too personal....

First of all, I have never submitted a screening form, and I never will.
Secondly, I have seen many well established providers. While you won't be one of them, I will continue to enjoy myself, thank you.

Keep the change.

Some providers lack internet security. The forms are often intrusive and more like bank applications.
Then you have the flaky providers who don't reply at all and the personal information is stored on a laptop indefinitely.
Hope that answers your question.

I have had the same thing happen multiple times from the provider as well or they post a date for a tour make an appointment then cancel the tour due to not enough interest but never let you know. Some ladies are much more proffessional than others and from your experience same with the hobbyists. I have also had a couple of ladies change the tour date and get pissed because the new date doesn't work for me. Rant Rant Rant bady it's ok.

Why is it stupid to fill out the form? Do you really see ladies who ask nothing of you?

I always request that my friends confirm with me the day before and 1 hour prior to our date to get directions to my place or to get directions to them.. Sometimes life happens. but this cuts down on the waiting game..

I think this game has a very high "flake quotient" on both sides of the transaction.  The difference is, it's your living, and our fun time.  And, no, I didn't take it personally.

real matter of seeing just how far a gal will go before we call BS. They never intended to go through with the appointment in the first place.

As a mature provider, I received an inordinate amount of emails asking me why I thought I could even begin to be a provider since I was too old, too fat, too ugly, too ________. Several more told me I had "some nerve" to charge my rates since I was too _______, etc. One of my first emails included a fellow who said that he'd like to see me, but only if I offered a discount for the first "throwdown."

Many men are out of your rate range. And that irritates them to no end. They want you to "pay" for their inability to pay, so they pull nonsense in hopes that you'll somehow get their "message" to lower your rates.

And some are still boys in fifth grade with nothing better to do than to annoy the popular girls in hopes of being noticed.

Whatever else you do with the time wasters, don't lower your rates to accommodate them. And don't take it personally. I know it's your income, but - as the guys here are always telling each other about us - just move on to the next one.

It makes me giggle at times.  When I have Fortune 500 CEO's completing my online form it looks silly for anyone else not to.  But hey, via email works just as well, so no harm.

I'm a newbie and am shocked by this info. It's no wonder providers are sometimes hesitant to just ANSWER the phone.

I have taken the approach that, in all aspects of the hobby, deference should be given to the provider since, to me, they assume a majority of the risk.

Don't really care much what other clients do, it's just what I will do.

are two different things. Screening is fine but the requirement is to fill out the form to be screened, we won't be seeing. There are way too many fish in the ocean. You have your rules, and some of us have our own rule.

Filling out web forms is same as putting your information on the internet. I know, your ISP told you it is safe and they don't use it. Next time, ask them how they secure Personally Identifiable Information (PII). You are supposed to secure PII if you collect it. Here is the loop hole, ISP is not collecting the PII, you are and you are supposed to secure PII under Federal Law. Understand, most of you don't have a clue as to what I am talking about.

PII is any information that can be used to identify a person, including phone number, personal email address, etc. Both can be used to identify the individual, if you know what to do, very simple. Do you encrypt the database storing the information using the web form? I doubt it. It cost money!

to sue in the Federal Court, if my information gets disclosed. What you all don't realize there are data protection laws also 47 states, they all have varying degree of penalty. You collect personal information on anyone for whatever reason, it gets disclosed, you are liable, they can sue you.

Don't believe me, Google PII and see what comes up. It is is going to come up with lot of information how businesses are liable, it doesn't matter whether it is business or an individual, if you collect it you have to protect the information. Another funny thing is, if anyone takes you to court, you will have to disclose the reason you collected the information, for what purpose, and how you used it.

Look at it this way, those who are not dumb enough to fill it out is actually looking out for you.

You say, it is not going to happen, so did T.J. Max, only cost them few millions to settle out of court.

As a matter of fact, I'm 99% sure my dates happened because....

A) the lady and I knew someone she felt extremely comfortable with recommending she sees me

B) the lady and I had been chatting on the boards enough where she felt comfortable enough to see me

C) the lady knew who I was on the boards, even though we didn't actually interact on the boards a lot

Now, that's not to say she didn't check my references. I just didn't give her any myself. I found out later some of them called each other for this purpose, but that was after the fact, meaning, we already saw each other.

Don't know about the first part, meaning the assholes she's had to deal with. But the last parts, about the time wasters and the 'move on' comment.

I hate to use restaurants as an analogy, but suppose you go to the mall. You're hungry cuz you're shopping so much. Don't bullshit me. You ladies shop...!

Anyway, you stand there looking at the menu of a place, thinking 'I'm not paying $10 for a burger.' Then you move on and think '$12 for a Chinese plate?'

The point is, there's people behind you asking if you ordered yet. They made their mind up what they wanted and you're just holding them up, ie cutting into their time.

So, just remember the best business to get is from word of mouth and repeat business. The looky-loos are bargain hunters in any business, and they'll probably never be satisfied anyway.

I have also been on the other end as well, schedule a appointment, arrive at the location for the two call system, make the first call at the time of the appointment, she tells me she has moved to a differant incall location and to call when I get there, then I call again and get no answer or call back.  Now after a hour so of dicking around, the night is a loss!  I agree with you if a hobbyist schedules a appointment he should follow thru or notify you if he can't, but as a hobbyist, I ask for the same in return from the provider.

Well, my forms get sent straight to my email AND with some hobbyists (before I had the form) I would ask them through email for info i.e. references, where they found my ad, and/or handles, sometimes, they wouldn't give me all the info I needed to screen properly.  When I would ask, they'd go off on me saying "I already gave you that info" it's like "noooo, you just gave me ur references' name, what about a contact phone or email?"

The "appointment form" for me at least, is so I can plan out my day, and for screening. I cannot be on the phone 24/7 asking questions and answering questions openly, so to me, email is best and I respond back 99% of the time within an hour 2 hours the most.

I just don't think it's fair to take a previous experience WITH ANOTHER PROVIDER out on the next.  What if the next provider IS NOTHING like the last and you miss out on a good time?  Who's going to be kicking themselves in the butt then?  I mean, I could have booked another appointment instead of booking a flake....  I admit, Providers are bad at it too, maybe even worse, but I dont think its Fair to assume ALL providers are the same.... I was going to post this very thing.  This just happened to me yesterday.  I have very limited time and I rarely can book on same day notice.  So I was very happy to see a provider that I was interested in trying to book in advance of arriving in my area.  Appointment was made on Wednesday for Friday, confirmed Thursday morning and that was the last contact.  Did not get a response to phone calls or IM messages until well AFTER the appointment.  Even if the excuse given is true, I would have appreciated knowing that earlier as I missed an opportunity to book with another provider.
