Guys

i wan wondering if anyone had any experiences where they got a less than stellar performance because a slight beer belly.

I am 5' 9" and weigh about 140. I have a bit of a gut, but I'm not heavy in general.

I never had anything odd, but for one time.

Thoughts?

Never had anything odd but for one time? Then just chalk that up to YMMV. It has nothing to do with a beer belly, just the timing and chemistry of that one time.
