There is much talk these days about a plague of bedbugs descending on us. Any provider of hobbyist encounters with these pests?

Lots of hype on the bed bugs.  I'm an entomoligist that works with them quite frequently.   They can be a real pain if you pick some up and take them home..........    Be careful where you hang your clothes in a hotel room or bedroom you've never been in before.    I would recommend to take a hot shower after any encounters.............

Interesting point; just where should you put your clothes?  Usually the lady puts my clothes on the chair after she removes each item.

good question!    the center of bed bug activity is the bed......so I put my things as far away from the bed as I can.   I travel for a living....so I put my suitcase on the fold out support (if there is one).  I check it for any signs of bed bug activity and place as far away from the bed as possible.   You can go online and look at what a bed bug infested bed looks like......   once you know what to look for and a little about bed bug activity.....it's not hard to spot a problem.     I guess the question is...how do you look around the bed/bedroom of a provider and still keep your mind on "business"...........
