When a person calls for an appointment, is asked for information so I can verify him, refuses to give any information and then is denied by me; they get rude, curse me out, and calls me names?  SMDH :/

Many of the guys on BP are looking for a quick lay and don't want to go thru screening. They have not upgraded themselves to see providers who screen. Also you are in Atlanta area where there are a lot of bottom feeders in the hobby both hobbyists and providers, the BP market is over saturated.

They somehow think the worst will happen to their info.

& only letting your regulars have your number so you can screen better will help ?
While it is time consuming, it's a lot easier to just delete a jerks email than to try & reason with them on the phone when they won't comply.
I myself don't ask for personal info but rather at least 2+ provider references and/or if they have a handle here with a few reviews under their belt or even better a P411 or date check ID. If not I won't see them until we've spoken for awhile & that can take up to 2 weeks before I'd even consider them.
I'd rather be slow & not have a bunch of money than in handcuffs or even worse in a creeps trunk...dead.

I am somewhat new to the Provider world. So, when I first started I did offer 15 minute deals...but I don't now and if people ask I even tell them I don't. I understand BP isn't the best place to advertise but until I build a bigger list of regulars I still have to get my name and face out there... but thank you for letting me know.

I agree, the 15 minute appointment clientele is not going to want to be verified and will most likely be deadbeats. I would never see a girl who offers 15/30 min appointments or advertises on backpage but I'm new and scared of being rip-offed.

That is not always true. Just because a lady offers 30 min appts, says nothing about her character... my 30 min rate is $200... that is not "low class" as others have stated. Same with advertising on BP..it's an ad venue, just like any other place... you just have to do your research. Are there more rip-offs and scams on BP? Of course... but if you do your research, you can avoid most of them.

lol...that is true.  I have posted in other places but I only get one or two responses from them. Believe me, I don't want to post on BP anymore. As I have said earlier, I am still somewhat new to this and trying to work with what I have.  Which I am sure I have a lot more to do to be on the level with providers such as Brianna Joy (Empress) and Kera Harris (thank you ladies for the advice) Consider me a work in progress...

Those providers and a few others have given me so much info that is helpful and all the info you all are giving me is helpful too, eventhough it seems a bit harshly put. LOL

If I didn't think you could make money doing this, I wouldn't even bother responding.

Constuctive criticism is a good thing!  I know there are things I need to do to improve and make the money and I am trying to implement them so, any words of advice are greatly appreciated!

I read the discussion boards numerous times a day and I especially like to read your comments,  I can see you aren't the touchy feely type, you just call it as you see it and I respect that!

TER is very quick to respond and easy to deal with when it comes to your profile.  Write to them right away (don't wait)...tell them the fee you want listed and don't offer less than an hour.  This is your image.  As has already been stated, offering a 15 minute appointment puts out a bad image...it will attract the guys who are cheapskates and don't understand the biz.  It attracts the kind of guy who would go pick up a street walker if he wasn't too lazy, LOL.

BP has a bad reputation but in small towns sometimes it's the best we have-many of the major websites that upscale companions use don't even have a section for Alaska--if I don't use BP I'm not taking advantage of my entire market...I stand out on BP first of all because it's the same drug addicts and rip off scams posting everyday and through backchanneling, the hobbyists here know who and what is legit...but BP is the first thing that comes up in a search for escorts in my small town where the clientelle is limited.  BP is a way for me to direct potential clients to my upscale website that I put a lot of time and attention into keeping up to date and professional.  It does not cost that much to maintain a good website and improves your image rather easily simply because most of the women who advertise on BP don't do it so it sets you apart.  Consider it an investment that will pay you back easily.
Also I only allow initial contact through email.  This rules out everyone who is looking for a quicky...since everything is explained on my website, I don't have to deal with any rude people, I can just ignore their stupid, "you are too much work and too demanding" uneducated emails.  There are plenty of potential clients who appreciate the safety that screening provides for both parties.  You don't want to see the guys who don't "get it"

I wouldn't see a hooker offering that deal...as I interpret that as a busy gal.  And in this world I prefer to fantasize that the hooker is "low volume" and that the johnnie boy ahead of me is not just wrapping things up (pun intended).  Let alone the johnnie boy after me isn't standing in the vestibule waiting his turn  LOL

And rip offs and scams are everywhere...at all price points and "classes" of hookers.  If a hooker isn't reviewed....it's a TOFTT and hopefully all works out well.

From someone who has done it ALL from half hours to a 6 hour min. and massage only at times, I can tell you the clientele are night and day as you up your rates and your time minimums. Guys booking less than an hour, and even just an hour in fact, are usually looking for a hole to fill and not much else. Does that mean the girl offering such time minimums can't offer the absolute BEST half hour there is in an upscale place? Absolutely not, but I would not waste my time spending that kind of cash on a guy only willing to spend the bare min. He would get a Motel 6, an air mattress, and ONLY a bj with no cim lol.
