May sound like a very stupid question, but can anyone recommend a good computer clean up program?  I will be giving my current coumputer to my S.O. and replacing it with a new one in the next few weeks.  I want to clean off all the porn, naked woman pictures, couples screwing videos, TER searches, ect....  Any suggestions??

It could take some time to complete that task if you have not done that before. Of course, there are wash softwares available but not 100% will be erased and some contents still could be recovered from that HD, by some clever geeks.
Buying your S.O. a new computer as a Valentine present will impress her more since a new one (mid range desktop)is only going to cost about $300-$500, which is like an hourly hobbying donation in Vegas. And no worry about your dirty little secret in the computer. Good luck.

If the ex wanted to reconstruct it can be done, why not just buy a 40Gig HD maybe $40 bucks at a Computer store, bring the puter and the restore disks and have them install the drive and restore the origional softerware.

Take the old drive and make a second drive in your new computer.  

Or drive over it with your car and trash it.

Buy a NEW computer for the S.O. [I'm sure she deserves it] and keep your own.

It's so much safer it seems almost a no-brainer.

And if she's got above-average computer skills, she'll find a way to restore the cleaned history, if she's so inclined.
