When you can say "I'm no longer a newbie"

Question form more experienced hobbyists.
When I can say I've become an intermediate hobbyist -- no longer a newbie --

A bit of background on me:
1) Almost 1 year in the hobby
2) I have 9 reviews - 2 more on the works --
3) I research well providers -- mostly from Eros --  I want to meet, so I usually get very good experiences
4) I do not suffer from the Madonna-Whore complex, so I treat girls well and respectfully, and so far all of them said would like to see me again.
5) I'm a regular with a couple of providers
6) I do not have any moral or psychological problems while hobbying -- no problem finding girls on my own, just no strings attached --

Is it something else I'd need to accomplish?

When you pass the TER intermediate exam

I believe the next sitting for the test in Boston is May 27th.

You'll need to pass that before you're allowed to consider yourself "no longer a newbie"  :D

Don't expect a diploma to hang on your wall!!

I've been hobbying several years...  I've got a good plan working with most of the major stumbling blocks taken care of.  Still I'm aware there are still mistakes to be made & precautions to be taken.  
I'd say you are no longer a newbie when you understand the illusion we play & can keep yourself from major mistakes.  Congradulations!   Just don't get cocky & think there is nothing left to learn!

You are already accomplished. It is none of my business what you like or don't like.

I think the toughest part of the "intermediate " exam was

Answering the question of "this is a number commonly found between 9 and 11"

BUT...doing so while a gal is performing a BBBJCIMNQNS  :D

I had to retake that exam 75 times.

No problem...the Florida exam is scheduled for May 16th

Have you taken this 75 times as well?

I am looking forward to the "advanced" exam coming up in ChiTown on June 9th.

Gonna be a tough one to get through I'm afraid.

I heard there's a prostate exam involved  :D

There is a big difference between becoming an experienced hobbyist.
And becoming a demanding asshole...

She used to do the Hawaii exam! Then she disapeared. Did she end up in Boston? Shit, and I still haven`t passed. Been waiting for my next retake, but she hasn`t been there. :(

Well, I always had a good laugh with CPA's postings. Yeah, no intentions to get certified as a Professional-John.
Hound ,nobody eats beans in Boston -- those sweet beans are a thing of the past -- it's more seafood and Italian food.

Yes, this was a bit philosophical question. I'm happy in the hobby, just wanted to get some feedback.
But again, didn't' you asked the same question yourselves?

And yea...did my first Beantown trip last year.  Loved the North End...Italian.  Went to Union Oyster...it was OK.  My fave thing was the guided tour of the Freedom Trail.  And nope...this gal wasn't the tour guide  LOL

Hardy`s rules are the written part of the test

which you have to pass before you can even attempt to take the practical part of the test. The practical part is the one that stumps us.

And can you send the tester in your picture to Hawaii, since they sent our girl to Boston?

Yeah, I'd flunk exams on purpose with all those girls you posted here, lol

Boston is a good market for escorts, smaller than NY or Chicago, but there's money so it attracts 'talent' from other states or countries -- I love Brazilians and eastern Europeans --

I see a considerable difference in the experience from my first time with an escort to the last one -- yesterday --
and most of it cam from the feedback here at TER, but also by having interesting talks with some of the girls, and last but not least Information( books, movies, blogs, PMs to TER buddies --
I rationalize first and act later, so I need information -- that's part of my work -- to make decisions, and so far I'm happy with the outcome. Thanks

You are no longer a newbie. What tells me that more than anything else is your post.

It's really fun to drink good Bourbon, read and respond to the replies. OK, really it's fun to drink good Bourbon. The rest is "icing on the cake".

Honestly though, the only people you need to impress or be concerned about are the providers you see. Especially your regulars. I have a couple regulars, who are wonderful women that give me more than action. At the end of the day though remember this is an arrangement, when the times up, times up. It really is a beautiful thing when you keep it in perspective.  

OK enough of my senseless babble, I need to refill my Bourbon glass.

I enjoyed the feedback, after reading all this I think you and Mr Fisher convinced me I should not be concerned with labels, like newbie, or professional hobbyist. so in any case, I now see I'm no longer need to rely on the TER community to have great experiences with escorts, so I have learned the ropes.

Yes, I now know I wont ask this question again, but this is a sort of rite of passage in the active life of a hobbyist, isn't it?
In short, when you can choose the right providers and you can behave and act properly with a lady, you are no longer a newbie.

Hopefully you already know how to behave around a lady BEFORE you start to hobby.  As far as choosing the right providers goes, I agree experience helps but we still all make bad choices sometimes.
