I know the procedure for seeing a provider, but I am thinking about visiting a massage parlor because of the lack of providers near my area.  So, how does the financial part work?  Do you pay a receptionist a set fee for a massage that is published in their advertising, and negotiations occur during the massage or do you just drop one sum at the counter based on what you see she charges on TER and see what happens from there?  Thanks!

I've seen two scenarios, you pay the mamasan/front desk a house charge, depending on where you are and how long of a session generally from $50-80 and then negotiate the services in the massage room with the girl or just pay the girl the full amount in the room.

Even though the rules are different about negotiating I usually do my research and now in advance what the going rate is for the service I want.  Rather than get into a haggle-fest I generally hand over my perceived up-charge and say "is that okay for full service?" or something like that.

So lets say it says $250 on TER and I am charged $50 at the door.  Do I drop $200 once I get back to the massage, or do I still need to give her $250?

If the rate is $250, you're probably talking about a whore house with a front as a massage parlor or spa.  I've never paid that much for an ordinary massage & HJ; including in NYC.  In either case, there is almost always a fee at the door + a separate fees for additional services.  At the place I frequent, the HJ is included in the cover, and the tip is just a gratuity for the provider at the end.  Some places require separate negotiation for the HJ, which isn't worth my time.

If TER says $250, more than likely, you'll pay a $50-$80 to a women working the desk then you will pay a separate rate to the provider for whatever it is you want.  I assume the $250 includes the cover, but maybe not.

As a word to the wise, if you have a TER review, follow the procedure described in the review as closely as possible.  If you don't have a review (or a recommendation from a friend) the service can be practically anything, including a disappointment.  Just be prepared for disappointment if you are trying out a local place without any recommendations.

I walk in, pay for the time I want to spend. (Not less then an hour), They show me to a room. I get undressed. Girl comes in and takes me to the bathroom for a bath. We go back  to the room and she drops to her knees and gives Mr happy a kiss till he pops... I lay her down, lick her till she's begging me to do her. Pick her up and bend her over and pound away. Mulitple positions with a second or third pop most times I go. I usually pay no more then $300 all told and walk out with a satisfied smile on my face.

You on the other hand might have to make her feel comfortable. I would suggest just relaxing and letting her hands or yours do the walking at first. She might ask for money up front,  But usually afterwards.

And I never review the place afterwards so as not to draw problems that way... Nor will I share with anyone I don't personally know where this place is to protect them. They are very well advertized in the LA Weekly, anyway. They been in buisness for years. And I hope they stay in buisness.

I've been lucky here and there with a hj for a happy ending. And, one place with a shower table and happy ending, and one place with a happy ending each time I show up, but she never takes her clothes off.

... but when I used to go to Massage Parlors the fee at the door simply got you into the massage room with the lady.   I would enjoy the massage till she did something to indicate more was available.  Usually 'accidentally' brushing the boys or Mr Happy and asking if I 'wanted more than a massage.'

A short negotiation for what I wanted (I was very boring and always just wanted a BJ) ensued and payment was rendered to the lady.

Those were the days!

I have been to massage parlors in Vegas, LA, Miami, Tampa and DC..When you first walk in usually you have to pay the madam and than they walk you to a room..From there another lady walks in..If you like you proceed if you do not like her than you threaten to walk..Usually when you threaten to walk they will bring in another lady and keep doing that until you are satisfied with the look..

Once the session starts you start feeling out the girl..A lot of them will only do a hj and if that is the case I usually tip them $30..If I get a bj I will give them $50..If I get FS than I will tip them $100..So if you do the math FS will cost you a total of around $150..
