I've been typing my fingers off trying to get work in Orlando and I've just stumbled on p411. It looks like an alright site and I haven't seen anything where they're asking me for money.
But it really bugs me that they want a copy of my id. My 1st question is, are they trustworthy? Sites get hacked all the time and heaven forbid if the police decide to raid them. I don't want my personal id published for everyone or end up in some government database. Am I the only provider that's fearful of giving out her real id?it's not perfect. It was sold by its founder a couple of years ago and, while nothing bad has happened, I consider the new ownership unproven at running the site as well as Gina, the old owner, did. That said, I've been a member for nearly ten years, continue to use it and plan on renewing my membership when the time comes. There used to be competitors but they have fallen by the wayside, so I know of no alternative to P411.
As for giving them a copy of your ID, that has long been a requirement. I understand that's uncomfortable but there's no getting around it. More important, I've never hear of a client (provider or monger) having their info leak from the site. So I'd say swallow hard (pun alert) and do it.

Sorry but going that far to verify myself doesn't make me feel very safe.
And it doesn't make sense for them to be making it so hard for them to sign up new members during this time.
Once you belong to that, as a hobbyist can’t speak for providers, it’s the easiest thing. It’s like applying for a job. “Here’s my resume...” accept it or not. “Can you send references?” No accept this or not.
You as a provider has been vetted.

Does P411 have a Insurance policy that you’re not LE or I’m not LE? Doubt it. But they make everything so easy.
I’m sure you got a pay something as we do but once again I’m a hobbyist I’m not a provider.

when i joined P411 (as a hobbiest of course) many years ago i had to give them several provider references ... no ID required. of course no idea what they might require from a lady. if you can find several established P411 member who can vouch for you that might help. otherwise yeah you might have to go the ID route.
but P411 is as someone else said the gold standard of all the hobby verification. sites
the reason I have never signed up and never will. Some of there rules are antithetical to my own beliefs about how business should be done, which means I probably would end of getting suspended anyway, which is okay, but they would still have my ID in their database for who knows how many years. I just don't want to be part of a potential jackpot for LE if they decide to go after these folks and collect all that info on hookers and johns.

Things might have changed since I joined but it was real easy to get on with 2 provider recommendations and no real life info.
They require IDs from providers (and that is relatively recent as in a few years ago) to cover their ass as far as having underage girls on there.
I can't honestly remember if I ever gave them IRL info, but I am pretty sure the two provider recs I gave them was enough back then too.
Many providers get a good chunk of their business from P411. I don't know how popular it is in your area, but being listed there lends credibility so that could help increase your own business.
Personally? I've given my ID to 3 or 4 websites over the years, including P411 and Eros. It's been a good decision and so far, there haven't been any negative repercussions.
Only you can decide whether or not it's worth it to you. I hope that helps a little!
for about 8 years. It is simply the best verification site going. I was leery at first, but joined after Gina (the former owner) and I corresponded. As a client, it was a great decision. Yes, they require real world info - but that is at the heart of "verification". I'd rather give out my info once and be vouched for thereafter, than deal with requests for that info every time I want to book an appointment.
It’s not that popular in my area. However, I use it when traveling to bigger cities. It’s a tool that I use and so far have been happy.
I'm not with P411. I used to be a Platinum member of the other verification agency, D---C----.

I think that P411 is based in Canada and is not subject to US warrants or subpoenas, so US LE cannot get such info w/o cooperation of Canadian LE. The other agency, DC, was US based. It was purchased by an agency operator in Boston and then there was a major LE action against her, her agency, and DC. I think the investigation began with her and her agency. DC was acquired during the investigation and was collateral damage.

I think that Eros HQ is in Europe but they operated a physical branch location in the US (Virginia?). That US Eros location was raided by LE and lots of info seized. Eros still operates but some are fearful that LE still has their fingers in there and has continued access to old and new info.

Usually the catch is that it has to be a crime in BOTH countries, so if prostitution and pimping is legal in Canada, then your statement is correct.
I don't know every detail of the LE cooperation treaties, but I included the general idea in my "US LE cannot get such info w/o cooperation of Canadian LE" statement.

It used to be based in Canada but I'm not sure if the new owners kept it there. Maybe someone else knows.
Re CDL's statement about ID, when I submitted mine Gina promised that once she saw it and verified me she would destroy the copy. I decided to believe her and I have no reason to think she lied to me.
is no longer there. The second problem is that its not uncommon for people to destroy the copy of your ID AFTER they have already entered your info into the computer database. I'm guessing she kept her word about destroying the copy, but that doesn't mean your info is not in the records of P411's new owners.
There could be a disconnect between what you want to believe because you trusted Gina and the reality of what IS.
I feel sorry for those who aren't.
Only those like you can will suffer no fallout if LE does get your info or it gets published somewhere should be giving their ID up to get approved. That would include married guys (I'm not) and those in sensitive professions that could face some kind of professional consequences if discovered breaking the law, not just for low moral standards. Lol Legalization of prostitution would make me join and give them my ID. Otherwise, its a pass for me.
Eros had a location in Raleigh NC and yes it got raided but I believe nothing came of it but paranoia. FOSTA law (Internet reviews) was struck down after a US court of appeals overturned it after being sued by The Woodhull Freedom foundation for SW`s. I think this info is correct but please correct me if I`m wrong.

Can you please provide support for your claim that the laws have been overturned by a court? I don’t believe that’s true. The best I can find is that a dismissal on standing grounds was reversed. That in no way means that the laws were overturned. It just means that the case can begin, without reference to which side might ultimately prevail. Thanks

As to the ID requirement, it is to cover their ass in the case of underage girls having a profile there. Can’t blame them, but also can’t blame any provider for not wanting to give up their real ID. All you can do is weigh the pros and cons, assess your own risk and make a personal choice. Everyone is different in what they are willing to risk.

In general it's been a good site with trustworthy reliability.. But having said that I know at least of a couple providers on there that are questionable at best that I would absolutely not want my info getting into the wrong hands.
Go with your gut and further more that's why do your homework in general all around. More now than ever with things ive heard here on TER and from a few of my own personal experiences will never do anything of the sort again. I let my references speak for themselves, if not good enough then move on simple as that....
