I knew a man, his wife, their kids, and his mistress (daughter), and her kids, in a very similar situation.

"What made him think he could and would pull this stunt off?"

Because, he's a sociopath and he's had a whole lifetime hunting for those who will be part of his game, usually through instilling extreme fear, by threatening a painful death, while at the same time treating them, most of the time, extremely well, and or even over-indulging them.

In any case, I have to say with all due respect, my BS light was flashing as I read this, and the needle was pushing a 9.

Is that this "mistress" is not only having an affair with the husband but with the wife as well.  Maybe it's beneficial for wifey to allow the public eyes to view her as a poor victim while all along she's been sneaking the pootang!!
Maybe she's desperately in love with the mistress and the idiot husband just thinks he has control of his household when all along the wife and mistress have a plan to drain him of alllllll of his money before they leave his sorry ass in the dust and head off to Cancun or something together.  
Well, that is, after the mistress gets out of jail right??  : )

This one still has me scratching my head and wanting to shake this man's hand.(for being sostupid and fearless) If that makes me a jerk, then so be it. This is simply amazing! There are people this fearless/stupid in the world.

It takes real guts (or just a serious lack of consideration) to move your mistress and her two kids into your house...that you share with your wife (that you have told repeatedly you wouldn't touch if she were the last piece of behind on the earth. In fact, she disgusts you when you glimpse her naked at any given time. You actually vomit) and your two teenage kids.

Not only do you move your hot young mistress in....but you buy her a brand new car. You pay her bills for her. You get your wife to tell everyone a convincing story of how this young woman is your adopted daughter. (those like me who can cut thru BS and see what is really going on just chuckle when you hear the story)You let your mistress run the house, terrorize everyone and repeatedly bail her silly behind out of jail when she effs up.

Oh, funny thing. The younger of the two kids of the mistress...looks a lot like you.

Now, it takes a real "Balls to the Wall" type person to get the wife to cater to your mistress. You get your wife to cook for her, watch her bad ass kids while she goes out to party with her friends, go shopping for her....i mean, this is the life!!

Oh wait, when she finally commits one too many felonies and is locked up, you convince your whole family to ride three hours with you...to go visit her. You get your wife to make up care packages for the silly chick who is now locked up.

I am simply amazed. While I left names and all other identifying info out, this is a true story. One I am seriously pondering.

Now, if I were married and tried to move the sexy pool TS girl into my house, who ever I was married to would prolly kill me and whoever else was in his reach. If my husband found out I wanted a dude ranch in the backyard, i would die a painful death, I am sure. Humpf. No DNA no crime I say.

Most women I know would not let the above situation ever happen. Heck, if their man even THOUGHT about it, he would find himself outside...with the mistress. Laying on the ground bruised, bloody and looking stupid.

i agree. it could be the "mistress" IS his daughter and his mistress and her kid that looks like him is a grandchild. sociopaths lead highly colorful lives and have no feelings or empathy to deal with. so chalking this up to "male ego" rather than a severe case of being a twisted and warped sociopath is rather wide of the mark by much.

What about women who are abused (physically or emotionally, what will they tolerate??? Folks kept captive can side with their captors (Patty Hurst)... This young woman is no where near his adopted daughter. He just met her a year ago. (if the reports from the wife are true) The rest of his family have no clue where she came from. If she was adopted, why havent they met her before now? If you were to see the two of them (her and the husband) in the same room, you would just....KNOW what the real deal was. Anyone with half a functioning brain cell could figure it out. Its in the air. You can sniff and know what was up.

Okay, maybe its not male ego. I don't know! This is why I posted this made for VH1 reality show...I wanted feedback on the male mind.

I also dont understand why the wife hasnt put her foot down and done SOMETHING other than complain. She keeps saying..."this chick has some dirt on him, I just dont know what it is" (when she says this, I resist the urge to hang up/walk out the house laughing)

Then again, the human mind is simply too complex for anyone to figure out.
