I have put together a stunning little see through ensemble for Christmas...all in red.
Does it matter to you guys?  I want to post it on my website and in my ad.  I hope to take photos tomorrow.

Also, I know that some providers have "special" rates for the holidays.  
Does a small discount make a difference to you guys?  Do you feel like you're getting something special and will be more likely to call and visit?

ladies during the holidays who offered special rates IF you made a donation to one of her selected charities. One was donating an unwrapped toy that was brought to the session and she took care of making the actual donation. The other one was donating a gently used winter coat to a charity it NYC that collected used coats to give to those in need.

IMHO it is much better to attach a "carrot" to the discount rather than just say  the discount is for all just for asking mentioning you read it on her website.    

I tend to be drawn to charitable acts and I appreciate the effort she put into the toy drive. It isn't about the money and more awarding the effort to help others.

Some people truly believe in helping those less fortunate no matter what their income is. It isn't always about the discount,  it's about helping during the season of giving.

A small discount does nothing for me. Unless it's 25% or more off her regular rate, it isn't a reason for me to make an appointment that I wasn't going to make in the first place.

It's the fact you made the eggnog yourself, you love how you look in the outfit, and serving the eggnog and wearing that outfit will make you feel good.  And if you're feeling good, it's going to make for fun dates with your clients.

The outfit would be removed quickly enough as to not be a big deal to me. As for the egg nog I love the stuff but I am not much of a drinker so I would likely pass do to the rum. The effort would not go unnoticed though.

I went out and bought toys, gifts wrapped, for her to donate to the program.

No discount, it's my Christmas gift to her and a way of showing appreciation for someone willing to give of themselves for such a worthy cause.

Part of the admitting rules was to bring a toy.   It was always well attended by mongers, many who were friends, and successful business owners who not only found time to buy a toy, but also attend the M&G.

Right now you have even less credibility than your web pimp. Good luck trying to get people to attend an event hosted by a complete unknown. I would suggest a very SMALL venue, you won't need a lot of room considering how few people are likely to show up. lol

You didn't get them mixed up with the toys you bought for HER.

I will respond to is a rate structure that rewards booking multiple hours.  Most hookers know the second or third hour is never as physically demanding for them as the first, so getting a guy to stay longer with attractive pricing for extended sessions just adds to the cash flow.  I will always book more time with girls who discount multiple hours off of the one-hour rate.   Even if you just count the prep time (which is on her) for hair, makeup, shaving and getting the incall laid out for a guest, it becomes more cost effective the longer a guy stays.  

 
When I think of a girl "discounting" her regular rates, the first image that comes to mind is the guy that buys the stale, expired bread at the supermarket because its half price.  Maybe an extreme analogy, but I'm always cautious about the motivation behind discounting.  In other words, "Why does she need to do this?"  If she doesn't have enough business, maybe the discounted rate should be the regular rate until she reaches the volume level she wants or gets a targeted number of new customers.  Food for thought.      

Many times a company will have high retail prices, and a solid base of customers who are accustomed to paying this rate.   It would be foolish for them to lower their prices and lose the advantage.  Instead, the company will try to find a way to broaden their customer base by offering the same product in a different venue.

Thus clothing companies will have outlet malls away from the big city where their retail stores are.    
Restaurants often have a bar menu with the same food at much lower prices so that you can enjoy the meal, only next door to the dining room at the bar.  Car companies have marquis lines that under the body are the same car made by their high volume name, with a bit more frills, but at substantially higher prices.

Similarly, a gal will leave her website prices alone, but advertise a special on TER so that she doesn't have to lower her prices to her regular base, but can add more customers to fill out her time.

As the old adage goes, it pays to shop around.

A guy like me likes the "frills", so if I take the discounted price, what am I losing with the "no-frills version?"  This is the question that gives me pause.  Is she not bathing, shaving, or something like that?  Did she not change the sheets?  Or is she wearing Big Lots' lingerie rather than the lacy V.S. stuff?  If its your first time, how do you know you're not missing out on something in the way of product or service for a lousy 50 bucks?  I have been to outlet malls and many of the designer stores there are selling "seconds" that didn't pass quality inspections, but the flaws are usually so minor, many buyers won't notice them until they get them home under the "all sales are final" purchase conditions.  It pays to shop around, but you also get what you pay for.  Not sure which old adage trumps the other.  Lol

For the attendees to feel comfortable, and for most to even consider attending it's paramount that the person hosting the event be well known  and respected in the community.

 
Screening is equally important as many/most TER member are NOT going to attend an event without knowing that everyone there is safe and not LE, a reporter, or worse.  

 
Please don't take this the wrong way (or do so, your choice) but you act like someone who wants to "crash the party" without testing the waters first and I doubt things are going to go the way you hope with this attitude. Many of us have seen literally hundreds of girls like you come and go over the years, women who after two days on the site want to tell the rest of us how to act. My advice, (which I am sure you are going to ignore) is to take things a bit more slowly. You need to prove yourself to us, not the other way around, and once you have established yourself a bit (under your REAL hooker name) the rest of it will come much more easily.  But trust me, if you plan on hosting an event being as completely unknown as you are, I would be surprised if ANYONE but the most naïve members here are going to go within a mile of your event.

I have attend those meetings and first thing I check is who is the organizer,  (and also the attendees when they finalize the RSVP) main reason why I haven't attend one in so long. I remember the Toy's meet and greet, it was a fun event.  

Also I notice ladies setting up "lunches" in the DC area... and my first thought is "are they screening the ladies that are attending?" Personally I don't "lunch & drinks" just with every lady on twitter or just bc they post on TER here and there. There's many things I look into it before putting my face out there.  

Agreed with Gaga, hosting an event being unknown not only would be a waste of money (invitations, time, venue, food, drinks, etc) but also a very dangerous thing.

I agree. A few years ago, I was a member of a local site that hosted M&G's and the toys for tots kind of charity events as well. They were originally very well screened. But then, the organizers got complacent, IMO.  
They arranged a "bring a friend" M&G. Now, they said that they trusted the members to be appropriate. Hah!  
I was banned from the site "for life", because I questioned the change in screening processes on their general board website.  I was called a negative influence to the serenity of the board.

The idea was to bring new members, mongers and hookers. They said they would screen at the door, HAH!

What if someone brought LE? What if , even worse, someone brought an underage person?  Even not knowing that they were under age. The ramifications would be disastrous.  

I was done a big favor by being removed.  

A few weeks ago, I was at a M&G in New York. It was organized by someone who really knows how to arrange a safe and secure situation. I had a great time catching up with some hookers and mongers that I have known for quite a while. They introduced me to a few stunningly gorgeous women that I will be playing with the next time I go there.  

IMO it takes knowledge and resources to produce a fun and safe M&G.

There is a LOT more to hosting an M&G than finding a venue and arranging for some food and drinks, trust me I know. It's been years since I hosted one, but I have hosted/cohosted a few events back several years ago.

 

M&G's when done properly can be great fun, but lets not forget the idiot (from right here on TER) who invited a reporter to a different M&G in NYC, or what happened in Seattle (extreme case, not just revolving around the M&G), or what happened in Texas several years back which forced a well known review board to shut down, before renaming themselves and re-launching some time later.  

 
To have a safe M&G EVERYBODY has to pass screening, that means hookers and johns alike. I know it's a pain in the ass to screen a hundred different attendees, but unless you have a prescreened list of prior participants, that's what it takes to make everyone feel safe. There are also other matters, like keeping the location secret until the night of the event lest LE or people who couldn't pass screening decide to stake out the place hours before the actual event and start taking pics of everyone and their license plates coming in and out of the venue for future reference. These are just a couple of thing out of a very long list of things to be cognizant of and the thought of a provider who's been here for a whopping two days hosting such an event is laughable

My point is that some guys are "drooling" over her, claiming how great she would look in various outfits without a clue as to what she looks like. It's one thing to accept a person at their word that they are what they portend to be, in this case a clueless, narcissistic, BSC hooker from Philly, but to start drooling over her sight unseen is quite another matter, and kind of dumb if you ask me.
