I think it is but I mean to your questions even on other sites you're taking a chance whether it's BP where I happen to get at least 3/4 of my visitors or CL (meh) or CV, BD, etc.
Craigslist or Backpage...is crazy...and if You get busted...both providers or Hobbist...You can Not complain...there are just to many warnings that those 2 places are Bad news...my heart goes out to those girls...I'll Never understand how a girl ends up like that...unwilling that is...because I have Never walked in there shoes...I just Hope he ends up in Prison for the full 25 years!!

WE all know that even TER ladies get busted. WE all know that even TER has been infiltrated by LE. We all know of busts involving TER ladies and gents.
A few reasons we here on TER hear so much about all the LE activity on CL/BP is because: 1. TER members do not let it rest. 2. LE activity on the various sites is going to be proportionate to the amount of users of that site. BP and CL usership outnumbers that of TER by leaps and bounds, so, naturally, the amount of LE activity will be higher on those sites as well. It's a numbers thing!
Busts happen. It's a simple fact of the hobby life. And a risk we all take. Regardless of the site you use, screening and doing your homework (by BOTH hobbyist and provider) will limit your risk.
Just my opinion, but a grown woman with free will and a desire to handle her own business is a completely different thing than any woman who is being forced into something at all.
25 years is not enough. That is just sick. And yes, I think it is everyone's responsibilty to not fraternize if a situation even smells close to something like that. There are just too many available grown females with good service out there. I think there is definitely a higher level of ethics when two willing adults engage in a private activity.

I have NO moral or ethical problems spending an enjoyable evening with a woman who I know is there of her knowledgable free will and who is enjoying the evening as well. It isn't hard to check and get a good feel about such things but it does take some time.
I'd feel worse about picking up a woman in a bar, pumping her with drinks and taking her back to my room for the night. I'd have more ethical issues it was a much more one-sided deal. With a provider I walk away with no sense I "used" her unfairly. Because some politicians want to inject their guilt ethics on me does not mean I have to accept them or that I agree. Ethics and legality are not the same thing and in this case I contend that what is the legal option is the less ethical option.
BP by itself doesn't mean good or bad but I would never trust it by itself. Crosscheck. Talk with her. See if 12 women have consecutive ads there all with the same phone #. See if they move as a group city to city. Incall only. A guy as their "assistant". That's just the easy stuff.
If you are a seasoned hobbyist you should not be so fearful. The hobby is not rocket science. There are many legit and good providers who advertise on BP. Your comments are misdirected. How about flaming the low life pimps who are also gang members? These guys are the scum of the earth.
On the contrary, but not all pimps are gangbangers or men at that. The media tells you how a wife's husband has been pimping her out or you look of CBS's stories or in the news paper how these young girls getting trick into the biz by a grown ass woman looking to make extra bucks for themselves or grade school buddies with computers and too much time on their hands giving other young girls the perception they can buy the designer clothes, new shoes, ect. by selling themselves.
Anyone who target anybody for trafficking reasons should be punish serverely.
