For a 3 hour date I brought some fine chocolates and I also brought a fresh strawberry and blueberry fruit bowl with Redi whip, and fresh waters. No alcohol for either of us.

Find someone who provides alcoholic beverages with her appointments.

That'll clean the breath right up.

I enjoy having a cocktail with a man. But I also think the alcohol takes care of breath issues - and it has a dual purpose. Kesha brushes her teeth with a bottle of Jack - maybe that's going a little too far?

Now, the obvious. Garlic, onions, kale - you know the deal...

But maybe also bring a nice bottle of wine to share.

Never thought of the breath thing. But if you're both eating it, you don't really notice it.

Lots of eating happens on my dates. We either go out, or I'm bringing the cheese plates and chocolates. I haven't had a problem as of yet.

The only time I have ever - ever noticed a breath issue with a man was when they weren't willing to eat or drink on the date. That makes for some raunchy breath when someone's mouth is dry and there's nothing sliding across the pallet.

I would rather smell garlic on breath than the breath of someone who is so nervous he won't eat.

I always bring a good bottle of wine to share on dates, it tastes good during the DFK that way. My dates are mostly around lunch time so I also bring food to share with my regulars. Drink, play, eat and play more.

Yes! And the alcohol really does work.

I will tell you, tequila, rum, cognac, and scotch (not all at once ha ha) will dissolve breath problems in an instant.

That is always nice. I can't drink it, but I do like the taste of red wine on a man's breath.

Best to eat a couple of hours before your appointment starts...

Be sure it's nothing that's going to give you bad breath a couple of hours hence. Then, basic hygiene...shit, shower, shave, brush teeth, apply deodorant, Listerine, and listen in to make sure that traffic issues are known before leaving. Any supplements or ED meds (if applicable) should be taken before leaving. Avoid smoking unless she does as well. Make sure you have enough $ to cover all expenses. Simple, really.

I fast...

y appts are generally around noon so no breakfast. Afterwards I hit the Oyster Bar for a drink instead of lunch. It increases the glow.

That is actually kind of fucking hilarious.

I don't think I would ever have to worry about puking on a provider, unless I had the flu, in which case I would cancel the date.
