Huh? Character Count or Word Count.

I already posted this to the Suggestion board. The posting software automatically adds the date and the time. There is a size limit to a post, so the software is already counting letters/spaces or words or something indicative of size.

Add LC or WC to the posting info and Afro-desiac's header would look like this:

Subject: Re "eom" he's hardly the only one who doesn't know. It's annoying.

A TRUE EOM post would say "CC: 0" or "WC: 0"

I also collect suggestions, some of which I share on the Boards

Any collectors out there? I often wonder if there are people that collect things, anything from sexual to non sexual.

Personally I collect Teddy bears, anything with the Welsh Corgi (My all time favorite dog breed, I have 3) and Lingerie (Lingerie, I collected wayyyy before  I got into the lifestyle even when I was like 400lbs I found sexy stuff, the lace, the satin omg my lingerie collection was/is enormous. I have limited edition lingerie that I don't wear for no one not clients not my SO not anyone. Only reserved for special photoshoots. I have one that can be seen on my mannequin in one of my photos. Just crazy, never to impress any man/woman just for me for my eyes. Displayed in my dressing room.

Do you guys collect anything? Met a gent that had the biggest porn collection I've ever seen (it was an outcall) , just seeing tapes/dvds/mags of it and his passion was crazy, another gent had an impressive wine cellar.

I collect Sports Memorabilia and Poker Chips

If you were to come in my room you would be shocked at all the autographs of sports stars I have. Everyone from Jordan, to Kobe, Lebron, Melo, Charles Woodson , Farve, Jeter All together I have 18 Basketball 4 Jersey's 3 Footballs  and 1 Baseball More than half the items were signed by the players in front of me. not bought via 3rd party. Most prized autograph is the Jordan Red Bulls Jersey Limited Edition 1 of 797. To give you an idea to frame a jersey cost about $700.00 A Basketball Display Case cost about $50.00. The entire collection is insured in case of theft. I am going to pass all this to my kids some day.

I also collect Poker Chips from every casino hotel that I have been to. No monetary value but I think it's cool as hell.
Every Hotel on the Vegas Strip and a bunch off the strip
Every Atlantic City Hotel including Revel
Foxwoods
Mohegan Sun
Sand

OMG Zac that is so awesome :D I would have never guessed that. Poker eh? hmmm

I collected albums from the 60s (The Temptations, Supremes,  Four Tops) thru the early 80s, 1300 +/-. Destroyed in a flood.  :((
Nearly impossible to replace at a tremendous cost. Stopped collecting that day.

Awe that sucks:( I'm pretty sure you can find it on ebay no. I know a provider (My best friend actually) she loves Vinyl has a turn table I believe in her house. It's her thing. Something you guys could probably spend hours speaking about. That's exactly why I love questions that don't have to do with sex it's crazy how many people have the same interest as you, I think it makes the meeting all the more enjoyable don't you?

1) Books.  I have a substantial library spanning numerous topics, but most concentrated on business, science fiction, and politics.  Also have a number of books relating to sports, especially baseball and my team, the Yankees.   A few of my favorites go back further, such as an addition of Street & Smith's 1949 annual preview (which was 11 yrs. before I was born), and a 1960 edition of Who's Who in Baseball (which was my birth year).  Both were given to me by a neighbor many years ago, and are in less than perfect condition, but they are still cool to have.  I also have an early printing of the The Grapes of Wrath, and of All Quiet on the Western Front as well.  These came from my long deceased grandparents, and while they have collector vale, their sentimental value is significant.

2) Coins and old money.  I've been collecting this since I was child, have invested significant amounts in interesting (to me) and valuable items throughout my adult life, and now have a collection that is both valuable, and interesting.  Mostly this is concentrated on US coinage, with Silver Dollars and minor coinage being my main areas of interest.  I also have a few gold pieces, collect the Silver Eagles in both business strike and Proof annually, and even have a rare platinum quarter eagle.   Also have a certified Silver Eagle that was recovered from the vaults beneath the WTC after the Sept. 11, 2001 horror, which of course has sentimental value.  Four people I knew died in that, including an ex-GF.

3) Star Trek.  Although this may seem trivial, the longevity of this iconic TV series spawned numerous collectibles, and I have a few.  My main area of interest is the books, publications (both fiction and non-fiction), and DVD's.  Althoguh I don't have everything, I have a lot of the coolest stuff.

4) DVD's and CD's.  I have many that I want, and continue to purchase those that interest me.  Many others are available on demand, so those of are lower priority since I can rent them.  The best ones?  I have an old VHS, Giants Among Men, which chronicled the 1986 NFL Giants, best team in Big Blue history.  Had to convert to DVD to edit out (mostly) damage to the old tape.  Also videotaped the NY Rangers winning the '94 Cup...tape still is still good, but also was converted to DVD.

5) Hobby Related items.  I still have my Venetian Mask from the EWS parties, and wore it in costume last year at the Vegas Halloween M&G.  There were a couple of the original hobbyists there, as well as a couple of the providers, who understood.  The rest thought I was Phantom of the Opera, which didn't hurt by any means!  Not that it mattered...I spent of the week-end with one of the ladies who understood: she was at the original party in Florida back in 2009, and was surprised to see me there.  For about 5 minutes, after which we...

Thanks for the question - we need more of these...it keeps us together as a community.

Player...

1989 Washburn Les Paul clone
2006 Fender strat
G&L Tribute Ascari GTS
Edwards Les Paul Custom

2 self-assembled Parts Strats

Samick Corsair bass

2000 Washburn EA2000 electric/acoustic
Blue Ridge 000 acoustic
Luna mini acoustic travel guitar

Been playing 35 years...

Nice collection. If I ever but electric guitar, it would have to be the Strat. Call of blasphemous, but I don't really like the feel of a Les Paul in my hands. Holding a Strat for me is almost like a holding fine young lady. An LP, I'd feel more like a chubby chaser.

Don't take that the wrong way, I did read in your posts you were a little bigger at one time. Congratulations on your success

Thank you...I was a lot bigger a year ago...

I agree some on the feel of a strat...they are a very comfortable, smooth playing instrument, but the Les Paul just fits me...

Both of the Strats I put together have custom necks that convert them to the shorter Gibson scale length...

I started collecting pocket lint, aluminum foil, string, rubber bands and other stuff in Junior High School. I'd stick them together to form giant balls of stuff.

I had a ball of bread crusts that I squashed together but it got so big and heavy that I had to put it in garage. I checked a few days later and it was gone, replaced by a giant dead rat with a bloated stomach.

I began my pocket lint ball with my own pocket lint and carried it around with me. When I started collecting other people's pocket lint, that ball got me out of a few jams. "But Officer, I was only collecting pocket lint to add to my collection, see? (show big ball of lint) I wasn't trying to take his wallet, it just sort of came along by accident!"

Aluminum foil collecting also started in JHS. Sandwich wrappers, candy wrappers, ... It got competitive and when a friend of mine came in with a foil ball twice as big as mine, I conceded and gave him my collection to settle the bet. Gloating as he rolled the giant balls out of the cafeteria, his ball hit a thumbtack that had fallen off the bulletin board, went !POP!, and left a skimpy little pile of crinkled foil wrapped around a broken rubber bladder. I was so disillusioned at the deception that I gave up collecting for a while.

I started making a giant string ball by HS and thought I could use that to get in good with the babes. I'd roll in with my giant string ball and ask them if I could pull the strings from their ... well, never mind. A few angry boy friends convinced me to start collecting gauze bandages 'cause I'd be needing them if I ever ask the girls again!

And similar sad stories about my other collections.  I even have a Tall Tale Collection that I'll share with you some day

Seems I collect ex wives, 2 so far.....

keep up the good work. I'll never catch you at my age, only have one.
But seriously, it usually sucks, wouldn't have gotten married unless you were in love .... happy hobbying.

Did you hobby while you were married? I found the life after I got divorced. If I knew then what I know now, I probably would have. 😃

Yes I hobbied toward the tale end of my second marriage got tired of no sex, living like friends with no benefits lifestyle while she snuck around , I started then , she actually found out about my hobbying  , seems seeing escorts was a deal breaker, who would have thought....... though I should have ended it myself yrs back.      Will say much better hobbying being single than married....

I'm a pretty serious knitter and collect yarn and knit lingerie.  The latter sounds strange, but when you knit your own panties you shape them perfectly to your contours and it's very feminine.  I've worn the panties to work sometimes (for regulars I know well) and the guys seem to like seeing something pretty that can't be just picked up for ten bucks at Victoria's Secret.
I've made some retro pieces that I wear at home, too.  Rita Hayworth is my spirit animal and nothing lifts a bad day like putting on a warm, soft halter and briefs. :-)

and there's at least one thing better than putting them on .... maybe I'll get the chance ... lol

Almost too much info from an Alias ... I said almost :)) fVS!

I collect sex toys, porn, exotic glass, wine decanters,  rare books, art, shoes and boots :)
XOXO,
TL

Have you been to the World Erotic Art Museum in Miami ...
That would be much better than lunch before a session ....

took a GF from FtL there, a sexy, but somewhat vanilla lass
and both of us couldn't wait to get back to the hotel.

I think we fucked ... lol

.. I read a lot and listen to music every day so I have acquired many books, cd's and even more lps over the years.

I know it's kind of childish but something about hello kitty to me is really adorable. I collect little trinkets mostly but I have a wide variety of items. In Japan, each city has its own hello kitty hand towel (because in the bathrooms they don't typically have paper towels after you wash your hands, so places sell hand towels for ladies). I was really into collecting a lot of those at the time and they are cool to look at and remember my travels since I never used them, they are just wrapped in cellophane.

As for lingerie, definitely guilty on that front. I would say my lingerie collection at least gets good use because I wear a lot of it. I like Agent Provocateur because it is made really well and can outlast pretty much anything, so I wear that more than my other lingerie, to be honest.

I do save my concert ticket stubs and have every one from my first in 1981 to present. from AC/DC to ZZTOP. I am a rocker. I love live music

a collection of photos of my all time favorite ladies. Most ladies will gladly share pics with you via email exchanges. Sometimes you get a preview of the photo shoot before it posts in the photo section, or on their ad. Sometimes it’s a candid, a selfie, or even a vintage shot. If the lady really likes you, she’ll get you access to private hobby mixer pics. Those are interesting because you get to see what some of the well known gentlemen look like. C’mon guys, we need to shed a few pounds. Many times a lady will send you an explicit shot. If she trusts you, and I’ve never broken a lady’s trust, the private shots include face pics. Now you might think that I sit around, and debase myself using these pics. Because of the trust, and intimacy that went into our shared experience, they’ve taken on an almost sacred religious tone, and are off limits to such gentlemanly auto erotic activities.

Of course there are some ladies who absolutely refuse to share any private pics, and that’s okay. That doesn’t effect how I feel about them, nor decrease the number of times I see them. One can always pilfer the occasional glossed up ad pic. But those do not take on that same divinely hallowed sense of connected spirituality, and get deleted rather quickly

My favorite item to collect is Case brand pocket knives. (That's where my handle came from) They are still American made and have a long history, even before the standard Casexx brand we know today. My oldest is a Case Bros. straight razor made between 1904 and 1915 when Case Bros. went out of business and sold the now famous XX trademark to some relatives who owned the company that's still in business today though it's owned by Zippo now. Also I will snatch up any older American made knives I run across. I enjoy the history that goes with them and sadly nothing much is American made any more

You know those tables on the sidewalk where they sell used books for, like, $1-5? I absolutely cannot pass by one of those without picking something up.

When Symphony Space had a huge book sale this summer, I left with an armful. Every time I passed, I was tempted to go in again...but, I was like - 'Um, you haven't even finished half of those other books you purchased last time.'

And guess what? I read them ALL, cover to cover (OK, now I'm lying).

I started collecting lipsticks. I'm a big fan of the color red but for some reason I can not go into a MAC or Sephora store without picking up a color, sad part is the only one I wear is red or nude but that's going to change this year lol, I'm going to put this collection to use.

I collect the following : snowglobes.....Skull decor.......stuffed monkeys.......rubber duckies.....and beads from Mardi Gras!

the things that people do outside of this and what they collect is amazing. At least to me :)

Do you know what "eom" means? And your grammar sure sucks. Just an FYI.

My nice friend Sasha is guilty of this a LOT.  But I like her anyway.  And there are many, MANY others who just don't get it.  There's some clown who puts "eom" in the message itself when it's supposed to be at the end of the "subject" line.
So, c'mon, folks!  Please don't waste our time!  Please use EOM when you're not putting anything in the message.

Huh? Character Count or Word Count.

I already posted this to the Suggestion board. The posting software automatically adds the date and the time. There is a size limit to a post, so the software is already counting letters/spaces or words or something indicative of size.

The sentence was an answer to the question collect "anything". So is it "does" or "do" to answer the question correctly, do you collect anything? Anything does or anything do? I see English isn't your first language ... "But it doesn't sound right." Oh you simpleton.

And comment under your handle instead of using the coward's way of using an alias.
