I don't know what providers are getting by putting their pictures behind the Pure VIP pay wall, but it seems pretty counter productive to me.  I'm not paying additional money to see your pictures that are supposed to be your advertising to entice me.

Can any provider using it tell me why they think it's smart to do this?

It's getting so common now, I am wondering if they are getting a 'free' website that's requiring them to put some pics behind it.

Methinks the blame is on those who encouraged and supported the practice by willing to pay for it.

Nothing lasts if nobody pays for it.

There are some websites that make it easy for a provider to create a DIY cookie cutter website of her own.  Some of those sites have set up the picture gallery parts as VIP or MembersOnly as the default.  

When someone registers and pays, the money goes to the website company and not to the provider (or maybe it's a split). Very often, the Provider doesn't even know that her pics are behind a paywall and is surprised to hear it.  Just as often, there is a way for the Provider to unlock her gallery and make it free, if she finds out how.

I'd start by asking her if her gallery is supposed to be locked or not.  If it isn't, tell her she should check with her webhost about how to unlock it. It she says it is locked on purpose, then move on, like I and most others do.

Got a PM from a provider.  The callgirlfiles site automatically puts the galleries behind the pay wall.  The girls get nothing for any signups.

Ladies, avoid this bull shit.  You are losing clients.  The money you are 'saving' by using this free website is actually costing you money.

There are plenty of anonymous hosting sites for a reasonable price.  I did a quick search and found one that even lets you pay with bitcoin, to add even another layer of anonymity to the process

I was surprised to hear what people said about it being a built in feature with the web-host

My practice is to regard providers with private galleries (and private websites even more so) as not interested in meeting new clients. However, they will introduce hurdles (like private galleries/website) to discourage people instead of take down their site altogether.

Good way to market business and get money

Once notified, she can change the settings on her site for free or open access.  

But she won't know to change the setting unless someone notifies her of the locked situation

This is very true and kept occurring with my former site host , so I moved to another where I had sole admin control over my intellectual property .

Do you think those sites would let you edit your pages with a note that says, "If my gallery is locked, please contact me for free access." When you get their email, you know to go back to your site account settings and change them. And you get to send them an extra ad: "I hope you like my pics and will come to see me soon."  

Something more bold, in big letters? "No need to pay! Just ask me [contact info] to unlock the pics for you."

A pre-apology: "The website locks galleries by default and resets the default ???ly. (daily? weekly?) If my gallery is locked, there is no need to pay them. Just contact me to unlock them for you."  

NOT: "The rip-off scum bags who run this website keep locking up my pics to get you to pay them, not me, for access. DON'T PAY THEM! Hay, ... they gave me this web site for FREE. Maybe they're only half-scum bags."

I can't imagine how a business person doesn't know what's on her own website. If you don't "know" what they have done without your permission, that's on you. It's your business and your responsibility to run it properly. Claiming ignorance is a cop out.  

One last thing, this topic has been brought up literally dozens of times on almost every regional board, it's a despicable practice by the web hosting company and you ladies have every right to be pissed, but you've had more than enough time to address the problem and fix it. Ignorance is hardly at valid excuse at this point.

Because a lot of sites now do not allow more eposed picsture on free browsing, it is getting really tight now to do with more kids looking at these pics.  Why shouldn't a lady have a few bucks for showing her fanny anyhow, seems those girls had a lucky escape you didn't call them.

Due to being married and my husband having a REaL life job and a family I also have a baby as well and have had a few stalkers both male and female I decided to do the option as well!  

First not all of us want to show our face especially if we have reviews and another life and I have other things besides a family I am doing as well so while this is helping me in my business and starting my new businesses I don't need to be out there that much!  Also the last thing my child needs when going to school is someone recognizing their mother or also when my hubby goes to work for them to recognize his wife as an escort!

It isn't always about just you guys a lot of us have other things we do you are not aware of not need to be as we do not question you in your personal life.  I know women who have careers that also play on the side.  

If the reviews don't speak for themselves then that is fine with me some things are more important than putting your other life at risk or your family.  I have left old pics in lockdown that no longer resemble how good I look now but naughty pics also which does not show my face and yes guys do pay to see and I do get a check from memberships which I heard as well once you do a membership with one girl you can look at others profiles for the amount of time you did the membership for so line all the girls up you want to check out and get a membership. For a day, week, month and then you can look at them all!

If you aren't content with reviews and fellow hobbyists advice and a few small pictures then move on it is that simple!  Heck a lot of girls will even do a Skype show nowadays so you can pay a small fee and see what she looks like!  Sounds more discreet and fair if you have been screened and you know what you are getting
