ATM Denomination

I went to the bank this past weekend, to fund my biweekly entertainment, and the amount of cash I got from the ATM is not as bulky as I usually get.  I started to make sure that the ATM gave me the amount requested, that's when I noticed that the ATM did not give just $20 bill! There were $50 bills included in the requested funds.

So, guys have you notice that the ATM are not only giving $20 bills? Are ATM beginning to dispense other cash denomination?

Of course that is so you put them into a machine a lose the entire amount.  Once it is in the machine, it is merely credits, and not an actual amount.

But the normal ATM's here in Mass are are always $10's and $20's.   I have not seen any that give out anything else.   Which bank and whereabouts are you?

There is one ATM at the casino here that dispenses $10 bills.  No matter how much you want to withdraw it's all tens......that I do not understand.  

But, yes, I have noticed more and more higher denomination bills.    Gotta' get me one of those pen doo-dads to spot the fakes!  Hasn't happened to me yet but I know someone who did get fakes!!

When I have an overnight or other high denomination type of money need, I have to stand in line at the bank to ask for C notes and I really hate taking the time to do that to say nothing of the lost anonymity.

I can't get enough in one visit to my ATM for a two hour appointment anyway so I go to the drive-up teller but I WISH my bank's ATM would give higher denominations...so far it's still 20's.

I've noticed at the 7-11s with full service ATMs, the ones that do Western Union wires, accept bank deposits, etc., that if you ask for the max withdrawal of $400, it'll give you ten $20s and two $100s. Withdrawal of $300 will give you ten $20s and one $100. Getting other than $20s at other ATMs has been hit or miss for me.

I always get a chuckle when I go to the bank because the tellers say they know the dancers.  The ladies come in with bags full of 1's and 5's...so, I have to wonder if they know I'm a professional private entertainer because I come in with bags full of 20's...

I wish more ATM's would allow you to specify the bill denomination.

The atm at my bank still only gives 20's, so I go into the lobby for 100's when I want to hobby. It's the only time I go into a bank lobby.  I rotate around different branchs.  When I deposit large amounts of cash or checks, I always use the atm machine. I hate going into the bank lobby.

I use my business bank, I'm there about every day making large deposits.  The tellers all know me and don't bate an eye if I get $2-3 thousand cash in hundreds.
