I've read many posts about ATF's and how great they are and what a different experience it can be...about 3 months ago I met a lady in LA through back channels - she doesn't have a review here and doesn't advertise anywhere on line - and the sexual experience was ok but the chemistry was terrific.  So, hear I am in LA again and I emailed her...based solely on the fact that I connected with her intellectually and thought I would enjoy some more time.  Well, we got together and the sex was AMAZING...she was absolutely incredible - one of the best sexual experiences I've ever had...and the conversation was fantastic.  I told her straight up, if she lived in Boston I'd be a poor man.  I don't know if it had to do with the fact that we've seen each other before and she was comfortable - that's what she credited it to.  I'll tell you that I will see her every time I get to LA.

I've had a good number of experiences with providers in Boston and some of them have been great but by and large I keep going tothe well in search of that 10 experience.  Now I know why.  A great provider is worth her weight in gold.  If she were cool with it, I'd review her and give the best scores possible...something I've said couldn't be done...I think a 10 is qualified by saying I forgot I was with a provider...well, I forgot and I'll never forget.

So, while my post is self indulgent in that I can't refer her to people as she asked me not to my question is this...How do you guys find those hidden gems?  

For me, I found her because a poster on the board was kind enough to refer me to his ATF who was unavailable and referred me to her friend that "sometimes is available..."  Thank god this woman doesn't live in Boston...I'd be without car, home and everything else.

I was referred to a gal that was an ATF of 2 guys that I "know" here on TER.  Interestingly these 2 guys don't know each other, and they are very different from one another in personality, yet they both had the same ATF.  The gal has no reviews, not even a web site.  The temptation was overwhelming.  Unfortunatly their "ATF" was not!  That's the other side of the coin, and like I said, you just have to get lucky.

I'll be back in LA in December, and I have uncovered another lady that's "under the radar" so to speak and I'm looking forward to spending some time with her.  Hopefully it will be a more fulfilling experience.

I wish you luck in your quest, and it looks like you found a gem in LA.

As suggested by others, it was pure luck for me.  There are two ladies that at one time or another were my ATF's.  I found both of them on the web and we just clicked.  One of them is married with children, yet we still keep in touch.  We are close friends.  I think that may be the key.  If you are fortunate enough to become friends, the sex, etc. just gets better and better.  Just my opinion.

My ATF Was an Agency girl in Miami.I met her while I was on vacation in Ft Lauderdale 3yrs ago. She was not my first choice that evening but the agency said I would really like her( typical) I thought the agency was sending me a Dud  until I opened the door, there stood a tall Beautiful Latina lovely.
We were both nervous and made small talk , told me she was in the buisness a short time and was only going to do this for a few months to say some money.She mentioned she prefered not to be reviewed. Well the chemistry or something was in the air, we made love like long time lovers for the next 2 hrs.
Saw her again for dinner the  next night , again great talk and passionate sex. I flew down the next month, saw her a couple of times for dinner , and even went to a swingers club together.
The next time I was making plans again to fly down , but Sept 11, 2001 Happened so of course moved back my trip.
When I called the agency the next month to schedule with her , they told me She had just informed today that she was quiting and moving to another state. I was stunned , she was gone in an instant. The agency owner was telling me he had another girl just like her but I wasnt really listening , just hung up.
No goodbyes , yet a lot of great memories. Its the price you pay for falling for someone in the Hobby.In the end It was an expensive liason , but worth it.

While I've had many experiences with all sorts of ladies over the years, the one lady I could claim as an ATF was an under the radar girl who just started to dabble in the business. She got out after only a month or two but had just a couple regulars she continued to see, one of which was lucky ole me.

As you stated, the hard part is finding the under the radar girl. I think it's mostly by chance more than anything. I'd think that they way you stumbled across your ATF is probably the best way......friend of a friend who is in the business kind of thing.  The lady I referenced had a friend who was escorting and turned her on to escorting for extra money.

Once they get a web site and/or an ad up they are usually adopt the pro mentality (not that this is necessarily bad, but the certainly lose the under the radar service that made them your ATF to begin with).

Rondo, I agree with you 100%. Nobody has mentioned names, but my ATF is Celeste in LA. I don't think that I am the only guy who feels this way. She just has a way of knowing guys and meeting their emotional and physical needs. Even though I am limited in how often I can see her, we are friends and talk on the phone several times a week. Some guys like the-more-the-merrier feeling. For me, the connection is extremely important and I have it with Celeste.

I have been at this hobby for some 27 years and unlike many of you I found my ATF in my early days of playing.  Guess that is what kept me going as I was always trying to compare the new ones to her.  Try as I might I never was able to find anyone that could fill that feeling that I had when I was with her.  Today, Father Time is starting to catch up with me and I don’t play like I used to and I have give up on trying to find another ATF.  The one that I found in the beginning is still with me.  Today the sex isn’t the main part of the ATF thing it is how I feel to be so lucky that she is there when I need her.  To me she is far more than my ATF.  She is my best friend.

As exciting and fun the variety offered by the hobby can be there is nothing like finding that certain connection that makes you feel happy, excited & comfortable returning again and again and again. My ATF is a total blast and somewhat responsible for creating 'Cynicalman'.  True; It is business, it IS about the money, but there are other elements that transcend and that's where the words "special" & "connection" come in to play.

  Redsoxfan you can also lose your home, car etc going from one provider to another to another but I do know what you mean.
Hobby responsibly (gee'z I'm such a hypocrite) and Revel in that you have an ATF connection in LA.

BTW- Should we be expecting you back in LA soon?? Hmmmmmmmmmmm!!

It took me quite a while to find an ATF (about 10 years or so).

Actually, it is very tough for me to say that I have one ATF.  I actually have 3....I know that sounds like a cop out.

Like many of you have said, you just know when you click ith that other person.  Unfortunately, two of the ladies live in MN (I'm in the Northeast) and the other person retired.

I have two, Baylee Lefever here on the west coast, and Griff in South Carolina. They're different in a lot of ways, but similar in that they're both very down to earth, easy to talk to, and enjoy the time they spend with me. So far, they're the only two ladies that I have had travel with me.

The fact that they're both blonde, busty and very pretty, may not be a coincidence ( :               MfSD>>>>>>>

I was in LA on business and I'm going to go to great lengths to find more business out there!

Saw mine in an ad, booked her and have been with her ever since.  Just lucky she was available the night I wanted to see someone otherwise who knows what would have happened.
