Older ones seem to "get it" a bit more. They come for the experience and respect the girls time, and are much less likely to want to come in and just pound the crap out of the poor girl.

That's not saying younger clients can't be wonderful, but they are often very different than the older ones.

First of all, just what really is the legal age (of consent) for a potentially illegal activity? 21? Or 18?

Some providers have explained to me that they have a minimum age for two reasons: (1) the older a guy is, the more respectful and appreciative he is likely to be of the ladies, and to know how to treat them with respect and consideration, and (2) the older a guy is (over 30, perhaps?), the less likely he'll be such a stud and wear out the poor woman with MSOG, especially when she may have a number of clients that she's seen or expects to see on a given day.
Are these truly the reasons for a min age?

And if its 21, then why would some providers I know list 25 as a minimum age? To me, it doesn't seem like that would make much of a difference. In addition, it seems kind of ludicrous: there probably aren't too many guys at 25 who are even financially established to afford to hobby, especially in this economy/job market, unless its a 1-2 times a year rare experience. And as for maturity, what about the young 20-year-old combat veteran? It all seems so rediculously arbitrary...

you must be under the age of men we do not like to see.

The reason is simple, they are more respectful, they tend to not flake, they like to make you feel good just as much if not more than themselves.

They are interested in connections, chemistry, taking their time. They do not want to come in and fuck you like a blow up doll.

They do not usually try to negotiate your rates, and ask for SALES

These are the main ones, off the top of my head.. I am sure there are more that other women can chime in on

Age has nothing to do with anything you mentioned.
You make it sound is as if older men don't try to negotiate/haggle, flake, or disrespect providers.

That isn't true at all.

I would imagine that having chemistry and a connection are stronger and more likely to occur the closer the provider and client are in age. So again, I disagree with your point of saying that younger clients are disinterested in having a connection/chemistry. Who wouldn't want to feel chemistry? And taking our time? Why would anyone, regardless of age, want to rush a session?

I've never flaked, I treat all the ladies with respect, and if we truly have a connection I reciprocate in every way. I've never been rude or clumsy like one of the posts up top claims. For example, I once was going to see a provider, but when I showed up she told me she was uncomfortable. I didn't make it a scene I just said ok no problem and left. I never go over the time allowed either even when some providers I've seen didn't seem to care. I actually tell them it's time to go because I don't want to take advantage.

I wouldn't say I'm demanding, but I do try to find specific women that I know will be ok with what I like. If a woman isn't comfortable doing something I like I'm not going to try to force her to do it. I just let it go and move on. You never really know what is possible until you give it a go because reviews don't always tell the full story.

The way I see it, if a provider won't see me because I'm too young it's her loss. There are lots of other providers to choose from and I'm a very reliable client. If I have a really good time with a provider I tend to see her again and again and again. The 1st time I see a provider it's almost always for only 1 hour just to see if her reviews are true. Future visits will most likely be 2 hour appointments which are great because we can relax, chat, and then go for round 2 with no rushing at all.

Many of my favorite ladies admit they didn't expect me to be such a nice time.

" Many of my favorite ladies admit they didn't expect me to be such a nice time."
I would guess they'd say that because a guy like you (younger client) is an exception to the usual experiences they've had with men of certain age ranges in the hobby and outside of it.  They wouldn't be surprised about the nice time you were if you weren't out of the ordinary for them would they?

I get there are exceptions but I for the most part stand to my age minimum....mine is pretty lenient compared to A lot of ladies. Mine is 27 tho there are a few exceptions (some students, military, firefighters, teachers etc).

All that being said.....3 of my most fave clients ever are in the 29-35 age range (occupations in no order: teacher, farmer and cook) . No one is saying older gents (45+) are perfect but the avg of better dates/experiences is a lot higher.

Sometimes it's really not that deep and it's just about preference (sometimes that's not a fun word to see if it means weeding you out but......hey). For some it's as simple as you might be their son's age or close and they just can't get over that (or being same age as their soon to be 21 y/o little brother *shudders*).  I suggest you not take it as personally as you probably are. You're very right there are lots of providers out here, many just right for you who would be glad to meet your very youthful acquaintance.

Many providers believe (usually from personal experience) that older men are more respectful, more interested in a mutually enjoyable session, and much less likely to be stuck up on themselves.

If she is going to run into a client who turns out to be a stalker, who thinks he's "Special" and deserves more than she provided (BBFS, rough play, etc.), or feel he can shortchange her because he's God's gift to women, it is more likely to happen with a younger kid.

As with a lot of rotten apples a few young guys spoil it for the entire category with some women.

If you are walking down a dark alley late at night and 3 young guys are standing in the shadows up ahead, do you get a little adrenalin flow?  Do you get the same feeling if 3 retierees are standing there instead?

Most men of any age are respectful, honest, etc.  But if a provider things 1 in 100 young guys might be a bad apple but only 1 in 10,000 older men will be that isn't arbitrary.  It may be a wrong belief, but that is not the same thing.

Write to them explaining that while you are under thirty, and understand why they won't see people under thirty, that you are mature; and then go on to write something mature to convince them of that fact.  Be brief and spelling and grammar do count.

By the way, the things you have written below will NOT serve that purpose.

Do not be a know-it-all, do not be didactic, and do not pretend to know their business better than they do.  You don't.

You come across as a guy who just tried to see a lady and was turned down because of your age.  If that’s the case I can understand the frustration that comes across in your posts, especially some of the later ones in this thread.

Yes, it is unfortunate that a few bad apples ruin things for a lot of other guys.  But the way you are going on about it here is not likely to improve your lot.  Look at how some of the ladies have responded to your posts:  they see you as whining—exactly the type of issue that reinforces the stereotype you are seeking to avoid.

The reality IS that a random 20 y/o kid is more likely to want 5 Os in an hour, more likely to have an overly inflated ego, and more likely to NC/NS or try and skip on paying.  Your trying to convince a lady that those odds are not real when she has probably experienced it first hand isn’t a good approach.

I have a number of ladies I have become friends with.  We do talk on the phone between visits, we do hang out OTC and understand that OTC for many of them means no sex.  They trust me to be discrete and not repeat things, not be judgmental.  As a result I do get a glimpse into their behind-the-scenes lives at times.  I’ve visited some of them in the hospital, and put them up at my place while they have recovered from injuries inflicted by clients.  It’s ALWAYS been a young client.  I’ve driven a couple hundred miles to give a lady a ride home because she had her car and purse stolen by a 20-something client.  I’ve had unexpected house guests when they flew into town and their date for the weekend NC/NSd or cancelled after they landed.  Always a young client.  I’ve had some of these ladies—as they are sitting in my kitchen with curlers and a robe completely OTC—swear they will never see a guy OTC because guys expect anything OTC means free sex; they are almost always (this one’s not 100%) talking about a young guy who only half-jokingly tells them “I’m so good in bed YOU should be paying ME!”

Those ARE the kinds of experiences many of the ladies have had.  It’s what you are up against whether you think it’s fair or not.

Suggest instead you use the anonymity of the board to make your 1st impression with a lady a positive one.  The biggest tool you have are your words and posts—give her a glimpse of YOUR persona, how YOU are likely to be 1-on-1 before she ever knows how old you are.  Convince them YOU are not one of THEM, not because you say so, but because of how you act on here.  Convince them you are one of the “nice guys” even before they know your age.  It’s their rules, so they are allowed to make exceptions.  Hey, that’s how I got to see London even though I’m 50 years older than her limit!  ;)  If I can get to see a stunning lady like London, then any guy has hope.

Although I have to admit that the few friends (can count them with the fingers of one hand) that are in their 20's can be a bit more demanding, which most times I don't mind.  And since I know them, I can turn down their request when I'm tired or simply not in the mood for an exhausting meeting.  BUT!, there have also been those that can't hold it for too long.. and they are just too easy!  lol!
They have never been disrespectful nor clumsy... Haven't got any bad experience with any of them.

If you asked me if what would be my ideal age?  I would say anyone older than 28y/o would my preference.  :)

I don't mind a person's age, its how they communicate and treat me.

If they're mature during their introduction its all good.

I can't say they're my favorites, I don't even enjoy dating men in their twenties.  But thats more of a temperament thing than not being able to hang with them sexually because I can.  I'd much rather play an entire session than lay around and talk about myself because I'm much more private these days than I was in the past.

I don't have a minimum age but I do have a maximum age.  I refuse to see anyone over 70 anymore unless their references indicate that it won't be like fucking a corpse.  Its just too much.  Other girls can, I just can't or won't.

I didn't go on some discussion board and complain that he refused me service.  LOL.  I got a referral and moved on.  His business....his choice.  This is the woman's own body they have a right to establish any guidelines they see fit.  You also have a right to go somewhere else.

As for not fitting the stereotypes, maybe you should try a short e-mail explaining yourself if there is someone you really want to see.  Maybe they make an exception.  Maybe not.  Maybe if you get a few referrals that you're very mature for your age and extremely respectful....that might change some minds.  Might not.

Give those things a shot if it's worth that much to ya or just find someone that fits your needs.  There are those gals out there.

I am a complete newbie at this, but if you've done any reading at all (on this website), you'd get that it's not about the sculpted greek body for MANY of these ladies.  I've seen one provider who said her favorite client weighed almost 400 pounds.....said she loved seeing him because he was just a gem of a human being.

Let's face it, most providers have a sexual itch that needs scratching.  But it's more than that for a lot of them.  And the same is true for most of the guys.  There is a reason that almost every review references things like intelligence, sense of humor, conversation, etc.  Yeah, it's a lot about the sex, but I've been with more than a few fence posts......no thanks.

Some of this stuff is genuine....some is acting.  I'm guessing it's important to understand and figure out the difference.

College student age...Business major...22-24 years old.

Your probably a decent enough guy. Good grades, and a few drinking buddies.

Let me do a comparison between you and others in your bracket...

You-Are respectful of other people in general
Your peers-Look down on anyone not like them

You-Don't expect something for nothing
Your peers-Don't have a clue about what it means to work for a living

You-Have a respectful outlook on women
Your peers-Think of them as sex objects

You-Appreciate a woman having sex with you, and understand that even in the civie world that it comes with a price tag.
Your peers-Think that every chick should just lay down for them...and then leave, thanking them on her way out the door.

You-Are just trying to get laid...
Your peers-Want it in the middle of a sorority party so they can film it and put it up on youporn...

I find it funny when people my age look at the younger kids and say, that this generation is somehow different...worse even. Kids are the same as they always have been. It is us, the older guys, who change. After a certain point, you see the world differently. The rose colored glasses come off.

Though I certainly appreciate your youthful unbiased view of the world, that each is different and should be judged accordingly...it is unrealistic.

What you are asking a woman to do, is to be alone, buck naked, in a neutral location, and expect you...a younger guy...to not be like ALL the other younger guys that are out there. The provider looses all of her protection, the second she gives you that room number, and or steps through your front door. From experience, she would prefer not to expose herself to a high risk pool. (Duke University Lacrosse Team)

Trust me when I say this...at some point in your life, you will see things differently then you do now. From experiences gained in life, you will become more intelligent, mature, and probably a little jaded too. When you hit that point, all of us "older guys" will welcome you to the club.

But for now, even though you may be the nicest, most respectful guy on planet earth...don't expect to be treated any differently then your peers. It's a right of passage. You won't learn anything from life without working for it...suffering a bit...and experiencing it. Until you do those things, you will be looked on as a kid.

And this is why there are self imposed age limits...

Maturity Morals and Age are cor concerns for me . If I wouldn't  in my civie life I wouldn't in this one.

I have been with gentlemen in the 30's range but I got a feel for them before and felt he was
mature stable and showed stablity in his career. I tend to lean more towards the older professional
gentleman but even when choosing no matter what age maturity is either a part of his make up or not.
I've met guys at an age that I would  considered mature and some of their antics fooled me. So I agree
it has alot to do with how someone was raised.

Many of the younger guys here are better writers, more intuitive and more articulate than those "experienced" gents...same goes for some of the BSC women in their 40s and 50s. Age does not equate to stability or maturity, but it damn well should. I like a fun guy, so no matter the age, I don't want to spend time with anyone who has the personality of a damn carrot!

Now that I'm nearly double that age, I think I have the best of both worlds. Some experience under my belt yet I enjoy going out, having fun, and making the girl I'm with laugh. Their is a concert coming up on the coast and I'm considering an overnight.
