I've recently begun working with an assistant to manage scheduling, travel arrangements and initial questions / communications.

For me the arrangement has been win-win because I am better able to manage and maintain my schedule, I'm less frustrated by the "I want to book now but I have no screening information to provide" calls and I spend zero time fielding calls from lookie-loos and fantasy fillers.

My assistant supports me in all those areas and  once screening is cleared and appointments confirmed, we exchange numbers and connect. I love that I am able to speak more openly (yet discreetly) when those calls finally call. With business out of the way, it's all about the anticipation of what's to come.

I'm finding it's a great way yo work up to a hot date... all pleasure, no business. No frustration leading in, no stress.
 

Hobbyists, how do you feel about contacting a priver throught her assistant? Do you find it more or less efficient? Is it more comforting for you or less so? Are you more/less likely to call a girl that uses an assistant?  I'd love to hear your thoughts.

And providers, how many of you out there have assistants? If you do, what role do they serve  and how do you feel having one has impacted your business?

I haven't had one long and would love to hear everyone's feedback on the issue.

several ladies I have seen have had assistants that took calls, did screening and scheduling and handled basic arrangements. I have no problem with this per se.

But I have had a bad experience, where the assistant and the provider were not on the same page, ad a lot of time and preparation for a date went to waste.

Also I have sometimes experienced delays in communication. I would contact an assistant and have to wait while the assistant contacted the provider and then got back to me. This is *especially* annoying when at the location and waiting for final instructions room number etc. Annoyance and complication substantially reduce my enjoyment of the session to come.

So - if you're going to use an assistant my advice would be to be SURE you're on the same page at all times, and to avoid the communication complexities that cause delays and frustrations for the client, **especially** on the day of the date. Either you as the provider need to handle the contact on the day of the appointment or the scheduler needs to know well in advance of the actual time that you will be ready to receive your gentleman.

While I'd prefer to deal with the provider directly, her having an assistant generally won't stop me from seeing her. But the the assistant needs to have a pleasant manner.

Dealing with a dude is uncomfortable. But I have done it.

I'm OK with it but watch your back she might say one day ("Hey why am I not making this kind of money") steal all your best customers or get pissed off at you and black mail all the rest of us(; food for thought.

I have never been refered to a booker or assistant.  That said, I don't think I'd care so long as the assistant has the right information.  
As above, the real issue occurs at the second call...  a delay is cutting into our date time.  I'd prefer the assistant handle the preliminary.  I think I'd want to speak to the lady before the date & can't imagine going through a second party at the second call.

The accuracy of the assistant is the key.  If she is business like on the phone and gives accurate information, great.  A few dates ago the lady used an assistant.  Well, the assistant gave me the wrong room # during a 2-call system.  Luckily, on one answered the other door.  I had to call a 2nd time to get the right room #.

You can reduce the risk of getting arrested if you do not take any calls what-so-ever.  

Get an assistant and if possible have it be a man so the caller knows it's all about business and doesn't call to flirt.
