I'd say it's attitude. It seems from the responses some don't like it some don't mind. Whether I can afford her or not I wouldn't be interested in seeing her based on this. My 2 cents.

It was filled with a bunch of comments like the one you quoted.  It came across as arrogant, obnoxious, and self-absorbed.  It completely turned me off.

Too many women try to create an artificial image of class or exclusivity through words rather than their actions.

Two minutes with this woman would convince anybody that she was smart, beautiful and high end.  Her education and interests reinforced that- and so did her fees.  But her website was such an immature, self-agrandizing monument to her ego and I never wanted to see her after reading it.

She spelled out the type of job you needed to have, the physical body type her clients should be, and even went into the psychological profile, or personality type, that you had to have in order to be considered.

Basically, you had to audition for her, including telling her how you were going to entertain her on your date.  Why wold I pay top dollar to jump through those sort of hoops?

I'm past the age where a pretty face excuses bad behavior.  After reading all that, I had no interest in seeing her whatsoever.  Once someone proves to me that they're a narcissitic cunt, I don't care what they look like.  There are too many nice women in the world to bother with someone like her.

feel special or important.  I'm just not one of them.  But I have no desire to hurt her business just because her marketing turns me off.

Also, her fees are high with a four hour minimum, so I don't think she gets too many guys trying to negotiate a quickie.

If a lady has that phrase on her website, does the above line come across as a hint of attitude to you?
I can afford the likes of her but was slightly turned off by that statement.

We ladies put up with SO many cheap guys that want to haggle and lowball over prices, so I can understand her making that statement.  It may come off as a slight attitude, but I think the attitude is directed towards those that may try to negotiate her rates... she's probably just trying to be clear that she does not tolerate that... but as long as you respect her rates and have her full donation (maybe even tip?)  I'm sure she'll be happy with you and have no attitude.

it to be negative marketing, however, sometimes there are ladies who get alot of hagglers, time-wasters etc.
I am a firm believer that there is always a positive way to say something that is to the point, as well as gentle.

In this case, it's not the wrong 'word', it's the wrong 'phrase'.

Aside from that, it sounds like English might not be her first language, and she honestly might not be aware of how supreme she sounds.

In any event, I wouldn't let it deter me.....IF I could afford her rates and I found her attractive.

Doesn't seem that her webpage wording is affecting her other than to keep those that are "offended" by her advertising methodology from seeing her....but I suspect that is her point!

...can be put forth in such a manner as to make them attractive. Brow-beating your potential customers is never a good way to encourage them to spend their money. Tell me why the provider is special, what she does to make herself so "rare" and why should I spend the additional dollars -- and do it in a positive way. That way, all parties will be inspired; even those who can't afford her rates *at this moment* will remember her as someone they might *aspire* to see when they can afford the indulgence. Turn me off now and I'll *never* see her.

But perhaps, all things being equal (i.e. the factors that make a person a "good" client), that is what she prefers.   Or perhaps she has self-esteem issues herself.

Either way, I would say that feelings of low worth are involved.  

A simple "non-negotiable" if her rates are higher than most would suffice I believe without sounding stuck up.

But I know a few providers who post no haggling on their ads's & websites.

One time I could remember hanging out with an ATF, for little while after our session.  Some guy called and asked her about a special she was having just for the day. Which was 100 bucks for 30mins non gfe session.

Well the guy then ask, "How much is it for 15mins then?
She responded "Well I can do 15mins for 80 bucks, but it's on positiion only.
He then says back "well if 30mins is for 100, then 15mins should be 50, because it's half the time."

They went back and forward for about 5mins in the guy trying to get her to drop the price. Which she did, but she gave him the wrong address to another hotel.

Some guys want a lot, but only have a little bit. Of money that is.

The first thing I think of when I see a post like that is that it ain't going to be fun.  I know the girls try to say something that will attract a guy's attention.  But the last girl I will go see is the one that more or less says "I am the sexiest most beautiful girl you will ever see".  The next one is "...  the best in town ...".  What I can tell from that is it's all about the money.  Which we all know it is.  But the ones who enjoy what they do are the ones I will make time for.  The guys that these ladies make money on are not rich.  Many of them take a month or two just to put enough extra money together to have a good time.  The ones that appreciate that are the ones that make it fun.

Some bigots would sat I'm "not white."  Other bigots might say I am.  Also, I happen to have met the poster to whom I replied.  I doubt she is offended.  Finally, what about irony and sarcasm don't you get tonight?
