Seriously, I have only hobbied in Spain, China and Mexico (Mexico City, Mazatlan and of course TJ) but I can tell you right now, that you don't have to go any further than TJ to have a great time.
How does paying $60 per round sound with a beautiful 21 year old girl that looks like she is a college co-ed from San Diego??? If you have time, and are down there for a few days, you can find one that speaks English (if you no habla espanol) and hook up with her on the outside for some nice unrushed sessions.
I know a guy from this board that meets girls in Adelitas or Chicago Club and then hooks up with them on the outside. He has said that these girls will spend the whole day and night with him for like $200, and he just treats them like his girlfriend, going shopping, dining out, etc.
I swear to God, a lot of these girls look like any young girl that you would see at an American nightclub. Most girls at Adelitas and Chicago Club are at least a 7, but many are 8's and a few are 9's with an occasional girl that is absolutely perfect!
Each time I go down, I make it a point to see two girls. The first is always reserved for Chicago Club or Adelitas where I will pick out the hottest and friendliest girl I can find (if she has an attitude when you first meet her, don't be stupid enough to take her up to the room, because her attitude will only get worse). The HOTTEST girl around will not charge more than $70 and I am talking about girls that look like they just walked off the cover of "Seventeen" magazine!
The second pop, I like to reserve for a girl that is working outside the club on the street. Unlike in L.A., these girls aren't working the street because they have pimps and/or are drug addicts. More often than not, they are working the streets because they are too young to work at a Chicago Club or Adelitas, where the minimum age is supposed to be 21, I believe. The girls outside are often only 18 years old and can be yours for $20-30. I know that may sound terribly exploitative, but if it makes you feel any better, throw them an extra $10.
Unlike the image many people may hold, TJ is perfectly safe, unless you are a drunk asshole or are running for Mexican public office. Don't be stupid and walk down a dark alley, but just use common sense as you would in L.A. or any other big city. You can park at the border, on the U.S. side (plenty of secured parking lots) for about $10 a day. Then, it is just about 1/8 mile walk to Panoche Paradise! A cab will take you to CC or Adelitas for $5, but negotiate upfront or they may try to rip you off for quadruple that price. Drinks are very reasonable at CC and Adelitas.
Both places have their drawing points. At CC you can buy a girl a drink and kick it with her...this is often a guide way to screen her to see if you want to be with her. A girl that is friendly and allows you to play with her hair, massage her neck, touch her knee or thighs is definitely a much better candidate than a girl that just sits there or acts like she is above all this and rebukes your advances. At CC, however, the girls are not really allowed to solicit the guys and instead just keep to one side of the club altogether...doesn't bother me, but I don't mind one bit when an attractive girl approaches me either (as they will do at Adelitas).
It is very possible to go down to TJ and have sex with two beautiful young women, eat, drink and sleep at a nice hotel, all for about $200. Personally, I never stay down there but just make some runs down there with my homies...a couple hours there, about four-five hours there (nice to rest and eat/drink between pops) and a couple hours back. For a single guy (or guy that won't be missed by a SO), there is no better way to hobby out there. So, before you buy that airfare to Bangkok or Thailand, take a trip to TJ first!!
I am not a resident of SD and I am unfamiliar with the shuttle services from the airport. May just be easier to rent some economy car...what's it going to cost, $40 max???
Sounds almost as if you are flying into SD specifically to go to TJ, otherwise why no need for the car? There should be plenty of maps at the airport and you could always ask the same question at the airport before committing to a rental car. For some extended fun, you can also buy Viagra at one of the million pharmacies down there and really make a memorable night of it. No prescription necessary but not much cheaper than it is available in the U.S. Adelitas is more of a party atmosphere than Chicago Club and has gained the edge in my personal opinion. Maybe 100 girls work at Adelitas while only 50 work at Chicago Club. However, overall, the girls are better looking at Chicago Club, but friendlier and still plenty of hot women at Adelitas (CC almost has like a Hostess Club type atmosphere with all of the girls staying on one side of the club until approached by a guy for either a drink, a dance or a doink (sorry but after those first two "d's", I couldn't help but finish off the alliteration with a perfect trio).
