I can empathize with her. I've had some shitty experiences in several of our Southern states but I try to focus on the positive, such as getting laid by a string of beautiful women despite a raging pandemic and some truly ugly responses to the BLM movement. The point of this activity--at least for me--is to escape the real world, including politics and all the associated bullshit.  So I'd much rather talk about how I can bury my face n a pretty girl's lap than argue about my governance policy inclinations.
