and it often has a pretty decent read.

I agree that it is best to stay away from the media itself.  No good deed goes unpunished, and all that.

Our hobby seems to be a recent topic of conversation:

First, there is "The Explainer" (a column that answers readers' questions), which discusses "escorting" vs "prostitution":  http://www.slate.com/articles/news_and_politics/explainer/2011/10/escort_services_are_they_always_prostitution_rings_or_are_there_.html

And then there's yesterday's "Dear Prudie" (the advise columnist) chat.  One reader asks if he should say anything to his wife because she texts and yawns during sex, and another reader frets that her ex-husband will be visiting providers in Costa Rica on their upcoming vacation:  http://www.slate.com/articles/life/dear_prudence/2011/10/neighborhood_dads_get_drunk_while_our_kids_trick_or_treat_.html

The comments below the articles are largely clueless about the hobby (one claims that agencies are basically drug dealers for traveling business men).  Initially I was tempted to chime in, and to even make the connection between the disinterested wife and other men's hobbying, but then..... I'm sure I'm better off remaining publicly anonymous on the subject....

Good decision on your part..   About 4 or more years back an provider decided to "Publish" a book and do a radio interview or three and the shit storm took months to blow over. This is an annonymus hobby not for the general public.

I just found this magazine.. The articles are concerning,. but like everything else in this business. People only see and highlights the lowest of the low. Not the full picture.
