It's graduation season, everyone.

I hope the lovely young lady graduates are considering at least temporary stints as escorts while the job market fully recovers.

Those of you delivering commencement speeches, please try to hint at this:

"There are things you've always wanted to do, but were afraid to try.  And things might look bad now, but it's all about perspective.  You can see it as a fantastic opportunity to try the things you've always wanted to do.  Indulge yourself in the abundant win-win opportunities that are everywhere all around you.   Take action on these urges and inspirations and you'll be rewarded handsomely for it."

Ummmmmm...so are you saying that we should, like, do anal even if we haven't done it before to make more money or are you saying we really should go to college? Or get boob jobs? What should we, like, do to make more money? Or should we like become excorts and tell our Dads about it in case they are unemployed? Or should I dye my hair brown to make more money?

or those who thought that being a stripper last year, after graduating, just is not paying the bills, but more precise, found out that they really like older men, and how to entertain them.

*I* can appreciate your post. It's current, and contains wit that some don't understand.

You're gonna get hell for it, too.

Just do your thing, brother! ;)

Fuck the rest!

But it would be a lot more plausible if written from the perspective of a provider, not a client. It sounds like a recruiting ad for pimps r' us!

However it is a good question because the market is still soft and is in a slow state of recovery. That would be a viable option for those who can handle it psychologically. However the participants in question need to compartmentalize their lives so they can still maintain a job search. Also I am wondering if some women who might be on the high end of the scale although it would be extremely unconventional, would use the position as a way to network with certain people? That would be a thought although it is certainly in the minority with respect to that approach. I am also thinking that those with student loans that would be outstanding would not be above the hustle and the hobby to meet their obligations to the bank since I am sure that they will start to have to make payment on their loans usually within a six month period. Thus the assumption is not absurd to assume that this underground economy would be a way to meet some financial obligations in an expedient manner considering that the mainstream economy would be slow to produce viable and well compensated opportunities for them.  Also sans the libidinal part of the job some of the same skill sets would be critical in terms of how they might get along with others in a social setting as well.

It's funny and not so carefully worded pep talk, but not to worry, women come and go, most don't have the stomach for this life, but they'll try it. Let's hope the government doesn't legalize it or we'll get Walmart quality.

are you suggesting that after
i busted my ass for 4 years that
i should succumb to urges, indulgence and subjugation by the likes of you? Not going to happen mr. hobbyist. I will keep my eye
on the prize. And YOU don't fit into
that equation anywhere.

....a couple of years & then the 'real prize', the divorce settlement! Hopefully you don't dig deeper into his pockets...& get preggers in between, that would be the 'biggest prize' of them all, more $$$$ for 18 years.  More profitable than a college degree.

Happy Graduation.

Me…..I’m a Happy Hobbyist!

imo there are precious few things in life that are more profitable than intellectual prowess/freedom.

preggers? can't happen herbie.
divorce? i'm 26 years younger than he is. i can hang on till its all mine. :-)

But be nice to OSP I kinda like the guy and wish you both well.

As for hanging on to get it all.... that's often tougher than it might seem, though. None of my 'babies' managed to handle it for more than 10-15 years, but they were sure going in they could do the distance. ;-)

With one exception, they did manage to trade up, though. ;-)

unlike JohnGalt, who I believe is paid by the word, but at least has a real point to his posts. DL just eats a thesaurus for breakfast and then simply strings syllables together into a meaningless hodge podge of meandering drivel.

I was thinking more along the lines of "brakes failed traveling alone in the mountains", or maybe "electrcuted in the bathtub", espcecially right after a multimillion dollar increase in the amount of his life insurance. rofl

Child support is not exactly the easiest way to earn $$.

Allimony is often debatable.  Dads who resent child support for their kids are often bastards in many ways.  Not saying all, but the exceptions are few and far between by the stats.

the text has nothing to say with regard to "providing" in general.  Just a call to follow one's dreams and to observe what's natural.
