Are some reviews misleading?

It seems that a few providers get reviewed far more often than others. These reviews are consistantly high and they always pop to the front of the reviewing list. There seems to be a consistant pattern to these reviews. Is it possible that not all reviews are on the level?  Please reply

are popular with TER readers, and have been in the database for a while.  While I’m sure it’s possible that not all reviews are on the level (some might slip by even the diligent TER Reviews Staff), the things you mention are not indicators of the authenticity of a review.

...providers who have received good reviews are then seen (and reviewed) more often than providers with mediocre or poor reviews--and this surprises you?  When someone tells me of a good restaurant, I go there, if I like it I tell others.  What is it you don't get?

Out of all my reviews they have been honest and I felt fair.  Only one review which was last year where I was included in with a friend of mine's review was embellished.  A twosome that never happened except in the gentlemen's mind.  But it definitely was creative.  It appears that a large portion or the TER gentlemen are authetic and writing about a true provider session.  The only difference that a gent may encounter is what your own personality brings to the session.

When the economy slows hobbyist who continue to visit ladies will visit the ones with the best reputations. Although many discussions center in on price and discounts the value of a reliable, verified, quality provider goes up. When this takes place the amount of people being reviewed decreases and in order to keep the VIP Status you are going to see more of the same women in reviews. If they are consistently good then the reviews are going to be.....well consistent. Just a thought.

Only talking about good providers here...Some providers encourage reviews, while other actively discourage them.  It seems that recently the number of providers who have been encouraging (vs actively discouraging)reviews has increased.  Maybe it has something to do with the economy or tax time?

Blue moon your observation that the increase in the ratio of encouraging reviews to discouraging review would be very consistent with economic models that describe service industry behaviour in a decelerating business environment.  A question to other readers, are you also seeing an increase in the providers who encourage reviews? -- JP
