Apology to Staff

I'd like to offer an apology to Staff. I regret allowing my anger to get the better of me and the resultant, undeniably open display of disrespect. Although done creatively and through the guise of humor, I did basically tell you to go f*ck yourself. It was very rude of me to do that to someone on their own board. I assure you that it will not happen again.
I plan to retain a peaceful demeanor, even if this matter proves itself unresolvable. In which case, I will bow out gracefully.

I appreciate your consideration.

Sincerely,

Nikki Avalon

things get worked out.  Your fight for equality and fairness is commendable.  If anything is to gain, at least you know now who has your back and who runs and hides.

Nikki, Although we never got together the last time I was in Vegas, you remain on my "must list".  Your intrigue is 2nd only to your beauty.  Hope all is well.

I am not trying to hijack Nikki’s thread and I hope I’m not pissing her off in her own instrument of possibly trying to “bury the hatchet”. Even though I came late to this, I have an opinion and feel compelled to voice it.

This board was designed as a database of OPINIONS and EXPERIENCES of HOBBYISTS.

The staff acts as a clearing house to filter out submitted opinions and experiences that are clearly based on fictional or “made up” experiences.  If data that is submitted is obviously outside the norms of other opinions, they can and do take the appropriate action to edit or delete the fiction. The more a provider is reviewed, then the “easier” it is for the staff to spot submissions that are abnormal. I don’t see any area of a provider’s profile that is intended to be created or shaped by first hand knowledge of the staff or owners.

But the bottom line is that ALL of the information is based on collective EXPERIENCES AND OPINIONS of the hobbyists and users of this board, not the staff. If the vast majority of the submissions claim that a provider has a certain characteristic, then a staff member’s personal or “inside” information should have absolutely no bearing whatsoever (unless laws are being violated). In this case that inside information seemed to contradict the “public’s” opinion.

What if a provider was considered to be a RED HEAD? EVERYONE knew it and believed it, but somehow a staff member became privy to knowledge that she is really a blonde. What should they do? Of course we all know. It’s everyone’s (or the majority’s) perception that matters.

An even better example would deal with breast implants. What if EVERYONE listed a provider as having NATURAL breasts, but a staff member gained information that was proof positive that she had implants? NO ONE could discern the difference and there was dozens of “fooled” hobbyists. Should the staff update the profile? Of course not.

I can’t imagine that the staff or owners would allow any such personal information to VETO PUBLIC OPINION except by some personal and unethical reasoning.

I did not read the original thread butI have also been guilty on at least one occasion of telling Staff to basically GFT.  I also cannot promise that it won't happen again. That said, I doubt anyone wants to see you bow out, gracefully or otherwise.

BTW I did get Wolfie's message. See you the next time I'm in Vegas, You too wolfie.
