An older guy went to the local Social Security office to apply for his Social Security retirement benefits.  He waited in line for a long time & when he arrived at the counter the clerk asked him for his identification in order to verify his age.  Upon reaching for his wallet he realizes he's forgotten & left it at home.

He then asks the clerk is he would have to got home to get it & go through the long wainting in line process again.  She says "Maybe not...unbutton your shirt."  He opens his shirt revealing a hairy, but gray, chest.  

"All that gray hair on your chest is proof enough for me" she says & proceeds to process his paperwork.

When he gets home he tells his wife of the experience & she says "You should have dropped your pants---you might have qualified for disbility benefits too."
