Female Condoms--Wow!! Ladies...why not?

Just had my first experience with a provider using a female condom tonite. To be honest, my initial impression was not positive. But the lady who introduced me just opened the door to a whole new level of enjoyment.  For the FIRST time ever, I actually came  in Mish, and for only the 2nd time ever was able to finish with the cover on. Granted, I'm on the plus side of 50, so I had accepted that that's just the way it was--that I would always need some type of oral or hand finish.  But Geez!! It was like not wearing the cover at all!!! It was like......BBFS without the BB!!   The lady I was with seemed almost as thrilled as I was when I shared how great it was.

So, ladies. Why don't more of you use them?

that FCs are less safe against STDs.

this is based on a superstitious extrapolation of the fact that they may be slightly less effective at birth control. the link attached is the only study of which i am aware that covers the effectiveness of disease prevention. it turns out that FCs are slightly better (but not significantly better) than male condoms.

anyway, i think they are wonderful. wonderful as they are they aren't better than good chemistry though. i'm about 10 years older than you and my current circle of friends is doing so well for me that i am taking fewer meds and so it is easier for me to get very happy, multiple times even. so they aren;t as important to me as they used to be.

in my first year hobbying the only times i was able to get happy when "getting lucky" was with FCs.

I've read some research that suggests that FCs are safer against herpes, Chlamydia, etc. They are not aesthetically pleasing, but very good for getting right to it so to speak. My guess that expense is another issue with adoption.

but the price performance ratio is still extremely attractive. they are a bit cumbersome, true. i also think that some ladies find the "shoe on the other foot" to be unpleasant. disposal is more bulky too.

i did get into it with some guys on the DC board in a debate about interpreting the birth control statistics in terms of STD prevention, rounf about last March i think. so that's where i formed my impression that there was some poor thinking floating around about them.

i never leave home without them although it is not that often i have the opportunity to use them.

FCs prevent more genital skin-to-skin contact than regular condoms. Some STDs, such as herpes, can be spread without sores from any such contact, whereas HIV requires fluid transfer.

that are worth the extra expense. The female condom is definitely one of them. They cost more but it makes MORE sense to use them than a male condom.

I loveeeeeeeeee them!!!

Swear to God! Have 2 ATFs that use nothing else! Unless a trip to the isles is in order. ;)

Fells soooo fucking good to use one, but it's all the same. Know what I mean?

Used properly, feels like BB.

Ladies I know use them will ALWAYS be favs!

Well, and the fact they know what Mikey likes helps also! ;)

However I prefer to use them with Gentlemen I had previously seen or with Gentlemen who have seen Ladies using them.

If you read thru all the crap, and if 90% of all female "O's" are faked anyway, we are the customer, right?  So if the ladies "really" want to give us the best experience -- well, those who do, anyway -- it should be a no-brainer. I mean, if they come prepared with regulars and magnums, why not FC's?

They cost more?  Ok, I'd pay it!  Let me see...I'm dropping 5 bills for an hour, but it'll be an extra 5 bucks for an FC?

As a quick aside, this particular provider ... doesn't fake her Os.

The reasons some providers don't like using female condoms are myriad.

For one thing, insertion can be a real pain in the ass, It can require use of a tool (such as a vibrator) to put in the right spot.

For another, while some women seem to be perfectly physically comfortable, for others there can be physical discomfort apparently from the movement of the inside ring in such a way as to create cervical discomfort.

And it can be distractingly noisy, sounding like a the crumpling and uncrumpling of a paper bag on every thrust.

I am not sure how common this occurence is, but I have heard one woman describe a circumstance where the penis fell out of the vagina and when the guy went to put it back in, the outer ring of the female condom was accidentally bypassed resulting in bareback. So the woman may need to exert extra vigilance in using her own hand to guide the penis into the vagina in some cases.

This is a catch-22. Even in sex that is a service; there is a quid-pro-quo such that anything that benefits one partner affects the other. If a woman has difficulty inserting the device, has physical discomfort while it is in place, is distracted by the noise or is fearful of bareback events -- the sex isn't going to be very enjoyable.

The use of a female condom has to be a very individual decision of the particular woman because it isn't universally comfortable for all women. If it works for her -- great! But if it doesn't, a hobbyist is far better off working with whatever the provider works best with as opposed to trying to convince her to use the female condom.

I happen to really enjoy the female condom; but I enjoy a comfortable provider even more.

I find the female condoms very easy to insert.  The newer female condoms are not noisy at all.  I have seen the older ones and undestand what you mean regarding the noise.  However that is no longer an issue with the ones being offered now.  The inner ring stays in place very well.  Similar to a diaphragm it locks into place.  I have never experienced it moving out of place during intercourse.  I like female condoms very much.

One of the many benefits of the female condoms is if you are seeing two ladies, they can both wear one.  That way you can go back and forth from one lady to the other safely.  Plus if you use a water based, edible lube you can back and forth from sucking and f@cking.

Another benefit is that many gents lose their erection when using a male condom.  The female condom feels so natural...everyone's happy!  :)

As far as the price of them goes, they are not that expensive.  See for yourself.  www.undercovercondoms.com

I admit that for about half of my sessions I pay $500 or more.

However, for the other half I pay $400 or less.

And guess what?

The ladies I've seen who charge $400 or less are just as good.

It is all very individual with each lady no matter her rate.

I have been using female condoms for about 6 months now.  My guys love them and so do I.

Would this work?

Yes.....however I don't think I would suggest that. I use my fingers and push it up as far as it will go...then I either use my client, or a dildo to get it into place.

As far as a client paying for a female condom....why would YOU have to pay for them, or bring them to an appointment? I have an account with an online supplier and get them in bulk for a substantial discount. The only thing a client should have to bring to an appointment is himself.

I use them almost exclusively and without fail if it is the first time a client has used a female condom....they only want to use them. For the guys it is barebacking.....bc they don't have anything on...for me it is a wonderful feeling bc I know this man is very very happy.

As for the messy part....OSP your partner is using way too much lube. Try using "Silver" silicon lube....you only need a small amount....very very small amount and none on the outside. If you can HEAR the friction of the condom while you are fucking, put just a little bit on your penis and carry on.

Smiles, licks, and kisses.........

I want to be able to go from oral to vaginal and back. People I know don't want to be sucking on nasty lubes. Boy am I muy dificil

For me there was no trial and error.  Also as for the lube...use a water based, edible lube with a nice flavor to it.  Simple stuff.

Just tried it. Lady lubed herself, then me, slid it on, and it was like a big latex blanket! But once I entered, it was the closest to wearing nothing that I've experienced!  In fact, we started CG, then went to Mish. She was ready to change positions again...but I said No! This is too nice!!

I personally would not do it that way.  However like Allure' said, you can put it in and then use the gents penis to push it into place.  I have long fingers, so I just do it myself.  lol  Each female condom comes with detailed instructions with pics to direct you.  Once you try it, you won't go back to male condoms.  At least that's what almost all of my clients say.  Two thumbs up all the way.

Thank you for your input. I do realize that it'd not a one-sided issue. The more both parties enjoy the session the better. I'm sure, on a case-by-case basis, that sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

But when it does....;-)

I get embarrassed puting it in and it just seems like an awkward moment in one that is supposed to be seemless. The few times I have used them they seemed noisy just like the paper bag crunching like someone else mentioned.  I just thought I must have done something wrong.  I also was not relaxed and was worried that it was in the right spot on the outside so was always checking with my hand.  I'll keep trying but they just seem weird to me.

And maybe i'm a bit too snug in the lady area but I can't get them in right either....they aren't too comfortable to me and I'm just not too hot on the idea of sticking something in my vagina other than a tampon or penis. I have a buncha different thin/ultra thin type of condoms for the men so....I'm good. lol

i have experimented twice with them, once just trying it on so to speak, and the other with the Hubby. it was very VERY uncomfortable both times...bordering on painful to be honest. it reminds me of a certain type of insertable birth control i used to take, and had to quit because i was aware of it 24/7 and it caused constant discomfort. every woman is not built the same, not even close, so it makes sense that anything that must actually be inserted is not going to accommodate every woman. there are many women for instance who cannot even wear tampons.

so yeah, not for me at all until perhaps a wider variety of models are made available.

I know what b.c. you mean...they need a slimmer and softer one or something...I dunno.
