Is it proper etiquette for a provider to be soliciting for business while you are having a date with her at a restaurant?  Seems a little over the top to me............but I've been wrong before.  I felt very uncomfortable, and probably won't take her out in that environment again.  Is it accepted behavior?

Of course that's not proper! I don't even check my phone while I am with a gentleman, in private or public. Solicitation of people at a restaurant is, IMO, unacceptable and trashy whether she's there with a date or not.

She's supposed to be focused on you...that's what you paid her for. And, if she's obviously with you...how very indiscreet, how embarrassing for you, and how potentially dangerous (someone could have called LE, and/or had you two escorted out). It's more than just a faux pas...it's just plain old trashy.

Sorry you were treated like that.

Where did you find her? I've known girls who would stoop to that level, but they were more the fly-by-night agency type. Any clues in her presentation that could have alerted you to these tendencies? There are a lot of girls who specialize in extended dates and would behave impeccably during a dinner date. Some things to look for: well-written ad and website copy, a nicely designed site (or at least one that looks as if it had effort put into it), tasteful photos, and maybe some reviews of dinner dates or longer engagements.

Solicit for business on her OWN time. This is your time, and she's using YOUR money to solicit? Oh, hell no.

she is trying to get me to a duo session later that night.

If I am paying for the time, it should be all about me.

OTC, with me...Good for her!

Suppose, you are haven g dinner with a hot lady who is not provider and she wants to take you back to her place and suggests.

1) Would you be uncomfortable?

2) Is it proper for her to ask you?

Was she taking a phone call or returning a text?  If so, that's not the best since she ought to be focusing on you; but it's not all that unusual either.

On the other hand, if she grabs some guy's dick while he's walking by......

So when we saw her sitting there we hand signaled her to fulfill her obligations to us.

Hey...she finished up before dessert came...right?

I'll bet you're surprised that nicky and I go to Wendy's....but I was in the mood for a Frosty  ;)

Nothing like being out somewhere and introducing yourself... Hi, I'm Suzy Cream Cheese, and for a few dollars, I can take a walk about with you too.  Wow, as LR would say...  You struck Hooktard Gold.

If you are on the clock with her, she should be focusing on you, not anyone else.  Now it's off the clock, that's different.  Off the clock, it would not bother me, but if I'm paying her to have dinner with me, she better not be talking to other potential clients!

He should slam her in a review!  No this sounds like one of those dates with no chemistry and she's supposed to read his mind.  And entertain him.  If you can't do dinner good with a divvied don't do it with a provider. And that goes 4extendedif also!  Oh and I'm still upset with u and your NOT my type!  Your mean!

s this an "off the clock" date?

Sure, we all want to be the only guy in her life when we are together. BUT, if she isn't 'on the clock', it is her time and you shouldn't expect her to be closed for business. Also, was her contact/contacts short & sweet or was it/they short & sweet?

I suspect your date left something of a 'gray area'. I am flattered when a lady agrees to some otc time along with a paid encounter. While I may appreciate the extra time and love it when she makes it all about me, I can't get too upset if she answers a contact or two (briefly) while in public. It is definitely taboo during our private time.

You don't give enough detail, but I wouldn't want to be embarrassed by her sending a message that she is with me for anything other than my good looks and charming personality.

Here's a bad scenario: [To other person and for all to hear], "I noticed you ogling me.  If you want to fuck, here's my number, but I'm busy with this chump who already paid me for another hour."

Please tell us it wasn't that blunt

Bad chemistry or not, she shouldn't try drum up extra business while still on this guys time.  That's inexcusable. Are you serious?
As far as me being mean, well I guess I could be, not often though... and maybe it's because I know who you are and don't like you :D

Seems my question raised a lot of questions............which is good.  So, it was not considered "right", which I thought was the answer, but being new in the hobby, I needed to check.  To clear up a lot of the questions, here some further details.
The provider was getting a bit shit faced at the bar with me while we were eating apps.  The plan was to enjoy some cocktails, apps, etc, then go back to my place for the "appointment".  At some point, I got up and went to he john and when I returned, she was having a heated argument with the female bartender.  She had tossed down another drink (martinis) while I was gone and was getting pretty loaded. This is a place I frequent a lot, and know the owner/chef and wait staff well.  The barteneder said to her that she was not going to serve her anymore to drink, and my provider/date got pissed. I apologyzie for the agrument scene, paid the bill and got out of there.  we went back to my place where she insisted on having more to drink, past my protest. She got pretty drunk, stayed the night, the sex was poor (usually is with a drunk) she was remunerated, and I drove her home in the a.m. about half hour away.

3-4 days later I went to the same restaurtant, and they informed me then, that she had propositioned a couple sitting next to us at the bar, while I was in the john.  Wow.  I didn't know anything about it until then.  I knew there was trouble at the bar that night, and now I knew why.  The owner was real cool and told me not to worry about it, but never bring her in there again.  No problem with that.
Nope I didn't review her, cause I see no need in hurting her, and she was drunk, and I don't plan and using her services again; and Boston is too smaill a town to get into it.

Hope this helps.
