I'm picky about certain things and I always take my own preferred brand of latex condoms because they fit perfectly and are super sensitive. This week a high priced traveling provider refused to use them and insisted that we use hers. It wasn't because mine were a certain brand but because she wanted to use the ones she brought. I have no idea why she felt this way. Anyone else ever run into this? Any input from providers?

She had a suspicion that they may have been tampered with, such as poking holes in them.  I never allow partners to use their own protection, even in my personal life.

Lizzy, thanks for your insight. While tampering would seem ridiculous to me since the desired protection works for both parties,  I'm sure there are some nut cases out there who would do something like that. I guess it just took me by surprise since I had not run into the situation before.

I bring my own condoms and most of the time the ladies are fine with using them.  A few times the girl refused to use them because she was fearful of tampering.  I don't make a big deal about it, I have no problem using her stuff.  I do draw the line at double bagging my package, thats just a little too much.  
Now I personally do not understand why someone would put a hole in a condom.  Its not going to increase the guys sensation.  It makes it easyer to transmit diesease BOTH WAYS.  In some cases the gentlemen could find himself responsable for child support payments.  (Its extream, but if its your DNA you could be stuck!)  
Personaly I think its all an unban legend.  (An adult version of the razor blade in the holloween candy).  

I'm putting my money on a guess that she is sensitive to using a variety of different condoms. No two condoms are alike, even different styles by the same brand. I found in my experience that using different condoms caused me alot of irritation that led to yeast infections. When I stopped using different brands, and stuck with one and only one type, the irritation cleared right up and I had no more problems. So on the rare ocassion when a gentleman asks me to use to his preferred brand of condom, I respectfully decline and insist on using my own.

There are some men with "breeder fetishes" who relish the thought of impregnating women and will tamper with a condom to do so.  

You could let the lady know what kind you prefer her to bring for next time.
