Why do some dramatically short their listed age in ads and websites?  

I'm seen some ads from some ladies I saw when they were (I believe) in their 20's ten or more years ago that still list their age as young 20's.  Some of them even use the same photos they had way back then!  

These gals are still providing great (maybe even better!) service from the reviews I see--and while they have aged they are still attractive--so I just have to wonder what the point is.  I'd think most guys wouldn't be concerned with a more honest age and those that don't want an older provider would be upset to find out they have been fooled....

especially regarding how high quality the service from these gals is.

The unfortunate truth however is that a goodly size segment of the client base are very concerned with age, and to that end, many providers feel that they must succumb to the temptation to which you refer.

It's unfortunate, and many do not do so, but there we are.

These ladies would never rely on the percentages that suggest that once the guy is there he's invested enough not to leave because she's older.

and they're relatively difficult to find.   I got enough nerve to ask one lady who was about 45 why she said she was 35 - and obvious answer - us dummy guys want the young gals.    IMHO she was missing a market that looks for the slightly more mature woman - and I have a couple hobby buddies who feel the same.  We discuss it.

Age, like breast size is something we men look at first....then you look at performance if she fits your "search" category.  So if a man has a cutof ofd 35, you list that age even if you are 40 and look 35.  Why not?  Who is going to check your birth certificate

What you are saying is true. Some guys want an older provider, and if they do a search by age, some can be bypassed because a hobbyist may not want a younger provider. So they can shoot themselves in the foot by not being honest.

I am a realist and I don't expect providers (or just people) to be totally honest, but to come right out an endorse dishonesty? WTF do we have TER for if not to get some honest, accurate information about the providers we spend so much money on?

But it is true that you are passed by all to often. No one will even look at your pictures and take the time to find out a little about you.
I see that on the Florida board all too often.

The gentlemen who do see me say the same thing as you channelguy...I don't look at a lady under 40

it's kind of funny that a man is even asking the question. come on, you know how a majority of the men in the world are. Even though they themselves have age, women have no right to age. We're suppose to stay young and make them feel young.

I'm 100% honest about my age and there are men out there that see 38 and think that means that I'm old. The funny think is that I have been told that I look 28. I could lie, but to be honest, I wouldn't want to see a man who would discriminate against me over his perseption of how old I am.

Despite being achingly physically beautiful, polished and charming- I found this to be in excess of innocent fudging and problematic.

If anything, I have wanted to age myself in advertisements; I've been told by many clients that they nearly passed on me because of my age and feeling perverse for having children older than me.
My mature lady friends do very well, better than I do even- garnering interest for dinner dates and overnights that I can't hope for because clients are so much more comfortable being visible with a woman of comparable age.

I do not understand the dramatic fibbing RE age either.

Amen, Bro!!  I, too, search for the 40+ ladies, and I think there are more of them than I can find my the age searches.

I saw a simiar question posted on the Atlanta board a few days ago.  I found it interesting that a lot of Providers post a preference for men over 30 and most men privately would admit to preferring providers under 30.

Ally's point is well taken that most men don't want to be seen in public with women (who are dates) much younger than them.  That violate's a well established and accepted social norm, but that would not necessarily hold true for private session.

What does age have to do with it?  ATTITUDE  Younger women as general proposition are seen as more energetic, enthusiastic, open-minded and physically fit and attractive.   That's not to say that older providers cant be that way.  I think the diffence is that in older providers, 35+, those qualities may be the exception rather than the rule; most guys don't want to take the chance.

I would MUCH prefer ladies be honest about their age. I'll be open minded.

What the ladies who lie about their age seem to miss is a lot of guys almost never look at the under-30 ladies unless the particular woman has distinguished herself in some way as having wisdom beyond her chronological age.

They are, perhaps unwittingly, appealing to the subset of clients who would be less appreciative than the ones who would still see them even knowing the truth.

since I am now on the other side of 40, but TER hasn't changed it.  I have no problem telling people my age.  Although I will find it interesting to see if the emails drop off because men search for under 40.  There loss as I certainly don't act my age!  lol

Ive been with 30+ and under and every time ive always had a better time with milfs . The young girls to me seem like there in it for the green every thing is cov always in a rush to get you out. With the 30+ girls there menu is more to my liking bbbj,cim etc. And they do not watch the clock.

I am honest with my age..maybe cause I am still young so I dont see it as a problem or big deal? When I am in my 30s I will say how old I am..why not?

I see many ladies that say they are in their 20s and they clearly look much older then me...Some ladies I know have been 28 for years and years...LOL. Maybe they think people arent paying attention!

Unlike men, ladies take care of their bodies so, most don't show their age. They exercise, eat the right food are aware of general nutrition, drink less, smoke less and occasionally pamper  themselves. All of this help to keep them young.

I for one admire the discipline of they take care of themselves. Besides, if you like the lady, age doesn't really matter, does it?

I have found the following to be true:

1) whether in the hobby or not, most women do not wish to divuge their age.
2) I cannot account for what age I find most attractive, heck, I'm old, so they are ALL  younger than me!
3) What would happen if there was some independant power, that said, you cannot post your age, but your pictures cannot be altered or created in a manner that would give a much more flattering image of yourself than you already are!  I would think that some young ones would loose business - much as some old ones.
4) Some people, myself included, only see themselves as they were or would like to be, and not as they are- hence the photos... Recently I had to update my passport, and looked at the past pictures on them.... very much a bring you back to reality moment.
5) With few exceptions (and there are some) I have found that providers in their 20s are not as good as providers in their 30s - and the very best providers I have been with, well, lets just say I've no idea of their age!  and leave it at that!

and I have no problems whatsoever being seen in public with a lady decades younger than me. I like it when other guys (and women) whisper that I either must have a huge cock or a huge wallet for someone of my age (fifty) to be with such a hottie.

Some of this might be due to the amount of time I spend in Latin and South America, in many countries nobody looks twice if a man over fifty (sometimes well over fifty) is sharing company with a woman under thirty.

I don't care about other people's hangups, I like what I like.

If I want to see a lady, and it turns out that her posted age is a few years off, so what???  Chances are I'll probably see her anyway, and most likely have a great time. Life is too short.

Here's a problem that I have personally...

I am in my late 20's... Many think based upon the way I speak and my voice that I am alot older... However when most people meet me, they place my age at 20 based upon looks... I have had a few clients think that I am underage til I prove otherwise... 95% of the time I have to produce a DL just to get cigerettes.  It is rather embarrassing for the most part.  It can be a compliment here and there- but it is annoying when it continously happens and have bad experiences because of it... A brief example- Service industry: Waitresses, Bar Tenders have a habit of treating "younger" people as people who don't tip well or don't have any money so you get lesser service quality.  Now once they get to know me their behavior changes and I get excellent service.  Ever have your DL verify because the casino thinks you are overly lying?  I have numerous times.  It's not a pleasant experience either!

I have been known to be 24 for eight years now  However I have been saying my age more often now and just dealing with the select few who really think I am younger.

I do agree for the most part... that older people are mainly better in bed.  I still think I am an exception by the way I wonder how great I will be 20 years from now lol ... I rarely even date others who are younger than 35 based upon sexual quality and maturity.  Plus I do not relate too often with my age group.  Most of my personal friends are 50-58.  I think I was suppose to be born 20 years ago heh heh.

I can't say that all the ones under 30 are just in it for the money. I primarily see young ladies in their 20s and have rarely had that problem. I guess it has to do with the women I chose and my criteria. I almost never have covered BJ and clock watching is rarely an issue. Sure we usually finish close to the hour, but I have run over some without a problem even though out of respect I usually try to avoid that. I am kind of picky about the ladies I see, and even pickier about my repeats though.

I have learned a great deal along the way and being 47 is right where I want to be. Its all good.
I am very comfortable with my age and have no desire to state otherwise. I see my age as an asset and feel pretty good about it all.

...and what a body you have! I only wish that you would look south for the winter in the Carolinas. I find many women hit their prime in the 30's-40's being comfortable with who they are and what they want.

Yes, you are a tad older than me, but the age wouldn't be a deterrent. Quality is quality.

How can you be 24 for 8 years and still be in your late 20's?
