Just wondering how secure we are behind our screen names. Is it possible to someone to find out more about us than our user names and email address'?

The question is... at least for LE... what is the effort relative to the payoff?

If the TER servers are offshore somewhere... hopefully they are someplace not too friendly or accessible to federal papers.

Speaking for myself... I'd be happy to see everything disappear if papers were served.

This fucking piece of shit 'outted' my ass on another board.

My name, address, phone number, corporate information, everything, was up for anyone to see.

Pissed me the fuck off and freaked my ass out!

It got taken down in a matter of hours, but that's not the point.

So yeah, if someone wants to fuck with you bad enough, they'll find a way...

TER servers seem to be based in the Netherlands where this type of activity is legal. Disclaimer: I am not a lawyer. One of the basic principles when it comes to agreements like extradition and sharing data is that the behavior in question needs to be illegal in both countries. The reason draft dodgers during the Vietnam War went to Canada is because Canada did not have a draft so draft dodging was not illegal and hence not covered by extradition.

That being said nothing is 100% safe.

Knows my real name, and other sensitive info.  All are reputable, discreet, and require disclosure for their safety.  To date, this has never spun back at me in a negative way.

While I understand the desire to remain anonymous, it's not going to be possible with to meet with ladies who are conscious of their safety, and that know what they are doing in regards to screening.  Lower tier ladies may allow you to get away with that, but at the potential risk to their safety both from Uncle Leo, and from a$$-holes.

Just my three pennies...

It doesn't need to be illegal in the hosting country.

Nothing is 100%. I understand a ladies point of view, however, I always proceed with caution.

Nothing in this industry is secure. EVERYTHING is traceable.

But if you think TER server could get compromised, use forwarding proxy and free account or pay by prepaid CC.

I had the same thing happen to me on another board as well, some pimp that I pissed off for "ruining his business" by exposing his bullshit was too chickenshit to come after me directly, so he outed me instead.

The only problem was, there was no one to out me to. Everyone who knows me in my personal life already knows what a pig I am, so the joke was on him. rofl.

It also got his sorry ass thrown off that board and he has been personna non grata around here for years. lol

So do you know who outted you on the other board, and when are we going to kick his ass??? lmao
