Starting to plan for my fourth annual spring rut trip. Past trips to L.A., Chicago, and Dallas have been quite successful. Dough is a little tight this year, so I'm looking for good service that's a little more on the bargain side. Heard good things about Nashville and Toronto--the latter especially given the favorable exchange rate with US dollars.
So, what's the view of you gents: what's the best city in the US or Canada for a committed hobbyist looking for, variety, service, a modest risk of rip-offs, and good value?
There is a fellow in Phoenix that has a website. He may give you some info and he posts on the TER Phoenix Board. Check out his website detailing his trips to Canada.
