I was on my down into down to my daughters Sunday night when driving up a small hill my car stalls.

Shoot !! 2 blocks away from my daughters and the gas station  ( out I think) So I  walk to the station  for gas  only to find when I return that that s not the problem. Well this is crappy I call for a tow hoping he’ll give me a ride when he gets here.

He pulls up and 3 of them get of the truck. So I’m thinking oh no.  I am not dressed for this weather and walking the 5 miles home. (Jeans Flip flops, sweat shirt (old worn thin) And I say to Matt (local) tow driver will you give me a ride he states he already has 3 in the cab. (crap) So one of the kids about 18 or so says I’ll walk back. So jokingly (½) I said let him do it he’s young and a man.

Matt says No he can’t do that the kid said Sure I can and beside it’s The GENTLEMANLY thing to do…Well shout my mouth there is hope for the future after all. LOL I thought you would appreciate hearing this one.

I try, but occasionally I lapse.....  and I get annoyed too easily these days. Nagging health problems dragging me down is the probably explanation (ie excuse).....

but it was sweet of you to post a story about a young man who is obviously a class act, and "address"  it to me.....

Glad you did not take too much of a hit on the car repair. Sometimes it feels like you basically buy them twice with the state of repair costs.

Well I thought of you at the time because like you I am disheartened at times at the way the world has changed (not all for the better) I am progressive in my thinning and I understand that things do change ,However  some things should never change  respect accountability and manners are just a few.I do hope your health issues pass quickly and you resume your hearts desire to the fullest
