and doesn't EVERYONE speak their native language fluently? Isn't that what makes it their native language in the first place,

My native language in "Merican", and yes I do speak it fluently. I also speak "Spanglish" as should all residents of the USA. lol

I am also mistakenly recognized as Korean, Japanese, Phillipino, Mexican, Native American, the list just goes on forever.

so to spice things up I learned some phrases in my ATF's native tongue.

It wasn't the dirty ones as most people usually try to learn first.

It took her by surprise and she said it was the sweetest thing AND it also got her a little wet.

She and her pals love to hear me say it, and so does my drycleaner.  8o)

I have tried Bing Translator to communicate with my relatives in Rome but it fucks things up beyond all  recognition.  Fortunately, they're fluent in English, too.
