The same way that posting hobbyists are linked 2 their reviews, how about doing the same 4 providers

I would like to make one simple click and check out the reviews given to the women posting the same way that others can click on my reviews.

Funny you should suggest that, because I was thinking about the pros/cons of it too over the weekend.

The reason it would be nice is that it would allow the ladies to post freely and not be criticized for including links with their post (a complaint I personally don't understand).  The thinking by some seems to be that the value of the provider's opinion is somehow diminished if they're viewed to be "posting for the buisness" and not just to express an opinion, which I again, don't see the relevancy.  But this would remove that concern.

It would also allow me to find the city of a provider whom I find appealing based on the ideas and comments in her posts, but don't otherwise know how to contact her or read the reviews for furhter info.  Right now, if a lady doesn't post a link, we don't know if she works out of Florida or Chicago without sending a Personal Mail.  From the provider's standpoint, I think this is called damned if you do, damned if you don't.

What I will NOT support, however, is any member who uses a provider's ratings to browbeat her, shout her down in a thread, or in any way make her opinion less welcomed or tolerated on this board than any other member- "Why should I listen to you, you're only rated a 5."  I can see it easily happening, just like in the past a few members on the LA Board seemed to think they were more important than others based on the number of their "scores" or reviews submitted.  I find both attitudes immature and worrisome, and have stated so in past threads.

Other than that, it could work.

Sometimes progress moves quickly, other times it is slow.

"Natural Selection is too slow!"

G2, as always your response is well thought out & reasonable...the points you raise on both sides of the coin have validity.  But how would you vote on this...yea or nay??

There are probably several hobbyists who have thought about it before, myself included with you & the others who've mentioned it.  I would vote "yea" in support Zorro's proposal.

I think those who are prone to rag on the providers who post are going to do so anyway.  An a**hole will always find a way to be what he is.  While they might be given a bit more ammunition for their attack were this to be implemented, I think most of us can recognize those flames for what they are anyway & pay little attention to them.

It would be interesting to hear what some of the gals think of the idea.

I would vote in favor of the Zorro-Lustman-007-Greywolf co-sponsored proposal.  It would add a great deal on the convenience side, and "we have the technology."

We probably have a majority just counting the people who believe it to be their idea.  :-)

one our reviews are under--the other for our board persona (unlinkable to each other, of course.)
I know: It kind of defeats the purpose. But you guys do want to be fair...right?:)

But you are also free to use a different alias to post too, if you choose.

I don't think it's deceptive or duplicitous if you want to freely engage in debate using another alias on the boards. Your ideas stand on their own merits and your right to express them is the same as anyone's.  If you are concerned that some of these issues get a little contentious and could cast you in a negative light professionally, then use a second alias other than Perscipacity if called for on occasion.

Not everyone would agree, but we're all anonymous here anyway, so what real difference does it make.  It only becomes a problem when a member uses mulitple names to gang-up on someone, or give the appearance of support  to his own post that doesn't really exist.  But these are the risks most everyone seems willing to accept based on the recent discussion of this subject and Staff's response.  As an aside, you may recall I posted in that thread supporting the idea of limiting alias use to one for posts, and one for reviews, but my view was in the minority.

Note, Perspicacity is a VIP member.  My inability to send her a PM earlier was apparently due to the first signs of senility and my inability to spell her alias.  Apologies.  :-)

Perspicacity,

I will agree that the question of fairness should probably always be a consideration.  But in reality, doesn't what you suggest already exist?  As things stand now I know nothing that would prevent a gal who advertises & is possibly reviewed under one personna from posting on the boards using another.  Actually, this isn't a matter of great importance (to me at least), but simply one of convenience.  A hobbyist can always take the time of do a review search on the lady if he's interested enough to do so.

For myself I never endorsed the idea of any second alias to begin with...this was a TER decision.  And while I understand what prompted it, I am not happy with the ramifications that resulted.  I have never posted on the message board OR reviewed anyone using other than the ONE alias I am known by.    I have always been more than willing to be "accountable" in those respects.  I mentioned this only because I'm not sure whether either Sasha or yourself may have misinterpreted my comments in another thread on the issue of anyone using more than one alias.

Just a thought.  Even though I see a regular massage provider, I do experiment.  Sometimes I use the TER, sometimes I don't, when I am making my selection.  I have seen too many variables between reviews for one person, as well as experiencing them with my regular, to be too judgemental against a provider just because she has a low rating.  Even the one I see has been rated from 6/6 to 9/8.  Sometimes, I have even rated my provider lower at times.
Also, there are the "fake" or "self-inhancement" reviews too.

Of course, if the provider is in a bad mood, etc., it can make for a poor interlude and a negative post.

I agree. I checked out reviews under Monet  and was suprised that a 1 or 2 other girls use this name. I picked it because I thought it was an original name amongst other things, so you can just imagine how many reviews come up with a name like Nikki or Ashley. With this method, right away you know who it is and I think it would also help when the girl travels so that hobbyists don't have to figure out which area code or city she may have been reviewed under. This may be a little more work on TER's part, but I think it would go a long way.
