Why is it that most providers hide behind the door when they open it? Pretty much all incalls I've visited stand completely behind the door when they open it to let me in. I've tried to come up with a reason for that, but so far, none make a lot of sense to me.

CLUELESS!!! or stupid, or new or just trying to be sarcastic or being cocky .....yeah, clueless!
I rarely do incalls but when I do I'm probably wearing barely any clothes. When you open the door if you dont stand behind it there could be a housekeeper or another guest walking by and it could not only be awkward but a red flag to hotel employees.
We don't need the maids and the people from the next room knowing what we look like every time a guy comes to the door. What happens when we are seen with a DIFFERENT guy at dinner or at the bar, not that I make a habit of that, but still. Some women do. Being seen with ONE guy is fine, but 3 in the same hotel stay? Think about it. Also, most providers are half naked when they offer incalls. That could be a robe, lingerie, or a towel. Unless I am FULLY dressed in business attire, I will be standing behind the damn door.

Thanks for the info. I understand if you're not dressed, but it seems like pretty much every one hides behind the door, regardless of what they're wearing.
Most ladies are not wearing a lot of clothes. Besides, I kinda like it and and the reveal when you enter the room.

Fuglies and fatties, who's pictures are very old, do that shit. Once you're in, if you bail, they can tell their hooker friends you robbed them lmao. When in fact THEY were attempting to cheat YOU.

The contest consists of many OTHFBC members standing behind a door luring the guy in until he has no choice but to stay as she closes it behind him.
Then that OTHFBC smiles...hopefully has most of her teeth and demands the money before any more action occurs.
The guy is too shocked to do anything but give her the money and go through with this. You've read that many times in reviews...right?
Hey...if she's not the hooker in the pics...don't give her a dime and leave. It's easy. Rewarding bad behavior is not an acceptable option.

They hide behind the door to prevent anybody else from seeing them.
If she opens the door and another hotel patron,, or worse, a hotel employee is walking by, do you want them to see a girl dressed in lingerie? I didn't think so.
I have had one provider tell me that she had a guy attack her as soon as she opened the door.
Thought I'd save everyone some time! LOL

Some of my regulars still do. I don't get why, lol.
I'm sooo tempted to put a giant scary clown behind the bathroom door for those ones! HAHAHAHAHA!

I usually walk up and down the hallway both ends looking for LE listening for police radios.
The last time I did this the provider asked me if I could not find the room because she saw me walk past her room through the peephole. I told that I do this for safety reasons. She agreed with me and we went on to have a great session.

Knock on any hotel room door. I bet just about everyone will be partly behind the door when they open it.. Next time you're out with your SO, go out for ice and try it when you return. She (he) will probably stand halfway behind the door when they open it... even though they know it is you.
I think is more sociologically ingrained in all, and not just a provider discretion.
Admit it...you like the mystery...the guys do it too.
There are many reasons that are safe for us who hide behind the door but the reasons that we do it for your benefit (at least why I DO): #1) I am usually dressed and made up and have the lighting right and just so...like a stage setting for you. so when I step out toward u the first impression is of me standing in the right light, my dress cascading perfectly, my hair and face catching the perfect lighting. #2) I enjoy our first meeting to be a bit tense for you! I want you a biit nervous and intimidated! #3) I want to let you watch as I step out and greet you, turn and walk into the brighter light and know you are slowly introduced to my shape, my class, my gait, my demeanor...smell my perfume drifting past you. Then I want to turn and let u finally see me! It makes me hot and takes me where u want me!

When door opens, some like to start conversations while in the hallway. Us ladies don't need neighbors hearing a different gentleman's voice every time our door opens....if a gentleman sees the lady while door's opening, his first thought is to compliment her appearance. Too much too soon!
