It's a little DISCONCERTING when you click on a "pro's" page on here and notice that she hasn't had a review in over TWO years (obviously due to the "shutdown").

So much for members getting access by using a "VPN." (smh...)

So, "ladies," since I assume MOST of you didn't just "RETIRE" for two years, WHAT did you use in the interim, in the full understanding that there is still NO other site as COMPREHENSIVE, in terms of depth of details, or number of participants, both monger and "pro," as "T.E.R."?

and so your conclusion is false also.  Not only was  TER inaccessible from the US, they also removed all reviews of US providers and disallowed any new reviews for US providers.  Everything came back within a few days of TER allowing US access again.  In other words, we could NOT post reviews for US girls during the blackout.  I saw about 100 different girls during that time period, and I would have reviewed all of them if I could.

Wait, what's the FALSE assumption?

Even if MOST members on here chose to gain access to "T.E.R." using a "VPN," as you said, they STILL would not have been able to post reviews.

So, for THAT period, there are NO reviews for U.S. based "pros," and when you go on a "pro's" page, and you see that GAP, it looks a little weird, kinda like a gap in a resume, unless you know the REASON behind it.

How many different ways to we have to explain it to you? There were NO reviews of US based providers during the period that TER was dark in the US. Someone else asked you recently if you had been dropped on the head as a child. I notice you chose not to answer that question also. So maybe that question bears repeating as well. There has to be some explanation as to why you can't grasp such a simple concept.

I'm sure there are sites for OBSESSIVES with ANGER issues like you that also offer the option of boards like these where you can VENT to your heart's content without coming off as the complete PSYCHO you're coming off as now.

I can even PM them to you, if you feel the shame/stigma of being labeled a complete angry WACKJOB is just too much.
Just remember, hand over any FIREARMS you may have in your possession to a trusted FRIEND (if you HAVE one).
I'd hate to find out you went off HALF cocked and did something "STUPID" and we didn't do ALL we could to PREVENT it from happening.

It wasn't just TER getting canned either, there were more than a few sites that got shut down in one way or another. You're right in assuming that most people didn't retire during the last 2 years. As far as alternatives, well, TER won't let  you link to any other review boards. There are a few out there, and depending on the region you're in, they can be pretty good, or absolutely worthless.

 
As far as ad boards go, Trist/Switter was real big, though that's mostly gone now. Twitter saw a big upswing, and subsequent purge, as did instagram. I think most people would be better served to stay off the big social media sites, because they're a data/tracking nightmare, and most aren't prepared to keep themselves secure while using them, but, there's providers on those platforms doing well.

Many providers went UTR when all of the FOSTA shit went down. They kept their emails and phone numbers though, so they were still plenty active, you just couldn't get a new review about them, so it was a bit of a crapshoot.

Yeah, I used the so called "alternatives," and they never quite measured up.
Goes to show you how ENTANGLED (if that's the right term!) this whole "biz" is, when after almost 20 years (?), there hasn't been a LEGITIMATE competitor/alternative to "T.E.R."
"Switter" showed promise, but that's ALL it showed.
"Twitter" had MAJOR potential, but the atmosphere is just so ANTI-monger that it can't, in its current form, be considered a viable alternative.
"Tryst" has a leg up in terms of MEDIA (photos, etc.), but its LIMITED reviews section CAN'T compare to the expanse of "T.E.R.'s" database.
I would agree that many "pros" probably went "UTR," but that had to have put a dint on new business, which I think is more prevalent in this sector than in other service sectors.

Switter never showed promise in my eyes, and in its current state, I was 100% correct in that conclusion. It's turned into agency spam bots and low quality backpage girls who had nowhere else to go.

Tryst is a good product, because the ad pages are very pretty if someone knows how to use the right pictures. It is pretty resource intensive to load, but that's Web3.0 for you, and it's becoming more or less standard so it's not really a fault. Where I can fault it is that the people who run it are bad people who generally hate men. If you don't believe me, look them up on twitter. With that in mind, you can't trust them to have your best interests at heart, and if it were ever any work to protect your interests/privacy/data, it'd be fair to assume they would rather just let you burn.

A side gripe with Tryst is that they're hosted on a US-based CDN, which means that they're subject to US LEO activity. While their CDN does, explicitly, allow escort websites to be hosted through them, that won't stop the feds from shutting it down, or worse, capturing all of their data, which will include logs and any form submissions, ie contact info. If you're going to use Tryst, make sure you're booking/screening external to that site and you'll no longer be low-hanging fruit.

While TER is asleep at the wheel there is one site that is growing like a weed with non explicit reviews. It does not have a forum. I know damn well that the people who are against the "juicy details" know where it is.  

It is far better than Tryst (in many areas) if ads is all you want.

We ALL know about the providers here using social media, so that would hardly be news to any of us, but even if there were other review sites that the ladies had been using it would be against TER rules for them to name them.

As for using a VPN, just because some of us are a lot smarter than you and didn't miss more than a single day when TER went dark in the US, the ONLY new reviews allowed during that "dark" period were those that occurred OUTSIDE of the US, or at least of providers who "claimed" to be outside of the US, but most of those providers who faked being outside of the US were caught and their reviews removed.

...the stupid "reviews-to-years-ratio theory."  Another idiot recently tried that on me on another board (which you always read) and you know what I did?  I used another example - your hero, your idol, the guy you suck up to - GaGambler.  He has exactly ZERO reviews in 15.5+ years.  How's that for a ratio of reviews to years?  Do you think he's also not reviewing the "trannies" he sees?  And as a matter of fact, GaG chimed in on that thread and said that anyone who tries that "number of reviews" argument has to be one of the "newest or stupidest posters."  Since you're not a newbie that makes you, in GaG's eyes, the "stupidest poster" on TER.  Congratulations!

I would be agreeing with Derek on ANYTHING here, but he is right and I think most here would agree with him.  You are shown yourself to be self-centered and egotistical to the point that you are not getting near the responsive posts from other members that you did in the beginning when many, some gently and some not so gently, suggested you modify your posting style to make your posts more readable and understandable.  Its clear you're a smart guy, but many smart guys do stupid things that turn people off.  Its a time for some introspection to see if you can't make yourself a better participant here.  If you keep going the way you are, you are headed to becoming "Laffy 2", a guy who mostly has to respond to his own posts because no one else will.  If that's the way you want to be, be my guest.  Some have already put you on ignore, where your posts don't even show up on their screens.  They're just blocked.

longer.  You would think that would be a wakeup call on who the actual "loser" is.  When you are eventually the last one left here who is not a "loser" to youi, you will figure it out, but it will be too late to rehabilitate your reputation.  You have united many veteran posters here who usually argue with each other and almost never agree with you, but they all agree YOU are the loser.  Are you so clueless that you are just going to march yourself off the cliff anyway, despite all the mounting evidence that you are doing everything wrong here?

I have seen dozens of annoying board trolls just like lolo, most of them not quite as dumb, but many of them just as annoying. The good news is, very few of them, LTM&L being the notable exception, have any staying power. They lurk in oblivion for months or even years, have this sudden spate of board boards and then since they have the attention span of a gnat along with the IQ of one they tend to fade back into the woodwork from where they came.

 
Typically the dumber the troll, the quicker they fade away, so I would predict we won't have to put up with this one for very long.
