Almost never use a white envelope myself, but instead...

Any consequences?

Ok, not the most pressing of issues, but I am sort of curious as to why instructions almost always specify a white envelope in particular.

(I'm willing to accept upfront it has nothing to do with racism :))

Sometimes it's blank inside, sometimes I'll get a humorous card if it's a lady I already know, so whatever color comes with the card is what they get.

I follow the providers instructions. I have done most of my hobbying in places where the provider wanted to see the cash. Whats the the envelope for?

Condom Box...it was an inside joke.

I Say: be creative!

I am curious to see what the ladies say though.

I have done many things from handing over a new louis vuitton purse with donation to placing the cold hard cash in her mouth as a gag (not the ha-ha kinda gag).  Depends on the lady and the mood.

I try never to use white envelopes.  Or envelopes for that matter.

I almost always use a card and whatever color envelope it comes with.  Makes it a touch more personal.

but only once. It was just my second visit with a lady, and she let me know that names on envelopes is not a good idea, especially if there is a wad of money inside, and we're both naked. She was very nice about it, but got her point across.

That is good advice.  I also never write anything on the envelope, just on the off chance that I have car trouble or somehow run into someone who knows me and sees me with an envelope with a lady's name on it (other than my wife's).  I might be able to explain why $$$ is in an envelope, but not in an envelope with someone's name on it.

I've never put the donation in an envelope of any kind.

I almost always pay at the end of our time together, and by then we're both pretty sure that the other person isn't there to cuff us (unless I pay extra, lol).

On the rare occasions where paying up front was necessary, I simply lay it down somewhere reasonably conspicuous.

The color doesn't matter, but no writing no cards.  I can always explain an envelope with money in it, but not with writing or cards.  I leave it in an evident place when I am in my hotel and she is visiting.  I put it down when she is at her place. I don't remember if I ever used an envelope of a different color, but I can't imagine anyone would care.

I haven't used an "envelope" since ... oh, I can't remember when. It was one of those nice "touches" way back when, but ... times have changed.

Ah, but I was so much older then,
I'm younger than that now.

I have a few boxes of designs with no pre-printed messages. Occasionally I'll put "Make A Wish" on the outside.

Hey.... a donation is a donation.

I never put a full name, but sometimes just the very first letter, in your case, a simple "M".

Is that a no-no?

I don't follow instructions well..
I don't like the idea of a envelope so I don't use one..Whats the envelope supposed to represent or protect??? Even if her web site has  instructions to put donation in envelope marked gift I don't do that..I work on a farm, not a office so why would I have envelopes..If I have to go out and buy envelopes I might as well be chasing civvies.
I discretely place my donation down when she is not looking either in the bathroom or somewhere in the room.. Only once has a provider asked me when I was leaving "What about my donation" so I told her Its on the table over there where I left it when I got here..
I don't give my regulars the donation until I am leaving and I drop it on the dresser....
I figure if LE busts in while we are sharing,if she keeps her mouth shut and there is no $$$ displayed there is no foul.

I've often used a funny "Thank You" card, which I leave in the bathroom of my hotel room before my date arrives...

The sound of her laughter is a great ice breaker for a first time date.

However, my favorite envelope came in a gift box of a very high end champagne.  I collected a few of these envelopes, which were glossy black, embossed with the house's emblem, and just the right size for dollar bills.  I got a couple "Wows" from the presentation...

However, the funny cards were the better ice breaker.

white envelope, card, bank envelope, box what ever as long as its what we agreed upon for our time together.
Now when, thats a different story. I do not want to deal with the $$ side of this at all. IF I do an outcall and its there when I get there I don't touch it or even deal with it til just before I leave then I pick it up on my way out and thats it.
Incall I don't expect to see it til the end, and just before you leave.
We both know why I am there and that I am being paid for my time see no reason to put more attention onto that, it can take away from what can be a great Passionate Experience.

Personally I've never understood the point of requiring the donation to be placed in a blank envelope, in a specific location at a designated time, blah, blah, blah..... In my opinion, all of the rules and instructions are a huge turn-off!!! And what difference does any of it really make??? Does someone out there really believe that having 'GIFT' written on the outside of the envelope is going to somehow change things if LE is involved??!!?? LOL!! And why should the provider care if it has her 'name' on the outside??? It's not her name anyway!!!! ..."Amanda who???, ...I don't know any 'Amanda' ", LOL!!! ;-)

Let's face it, if it is in fact a sting operation, these little details are not going to really have any impact on the overall outcome. And I feel that having such detailed information and directions on a website is actually a bit self-incriminating. I've removed virtually everything that would even imply who or what I am from my site. Just pics and my travel calender. I figure I've been around long enough and have enough reviews that anyone with half a brain can figure it out without me having to spell it out for them ;-)

But I do understand that some ladies like the structure of always having things done one way. So to each his own.... Though I do think that in some ways they are creating a false sense of security for themselves. ....Just my 2 cents.

Big kisses,
Amanda ;-)

I like to give funny birthday cards, and I do write happy Birthday on the envelope.....in all colors, shapes, & sizes! Are you available for a birthday party Amanda?

Of course Amanda you are right.  Not having a name on the envelope etc really only protects against a peculiar happening (Plane crashes into the hotel, you are blown into the street with the envelope where you and it are found unconscious by your significant other who happens to be in the same strange city...). I am not sure why I like to leave the envelope without a name in an obvious place.  It probably has to do with preserving the illusion and keeping as much psychological distance between money and the visit.

I never use envolupes...  too suspicious.  I fold in half with a paper clip so it's separate in a front pocket.
The lady who broke me in (now my ATF) prefered it.
