I wish there was a crying face on here.

I am not all teary eyed because of any sadness. I am teary eyed because God has blessed me to make it to 43 years old.

I have spoke with a few friends and family members already this morning. A cousin of mines woke me up singing happy birthday over the phone. She kept saying I was 21 years young. I did not like being in my 20's at all. My 30's were spent thinking up new and creative ways to ground my kids. My 40's seem to be my favorite time of life. Here I am 43 years old, both my children are adults, my grandchildren...I love them to life, but THANK GOD I am not responsible for rearing them. I am in a very solid relationship, done with college, a happy paid swinger, in reasonable health, and I live in Las Vegas.

I have buried so many friends I went to college and high school with, so many relatives who should be here to help me celebrate.....I am proud and blessed to have made it this far, and be sort of sane. Life and living are beautiful things and I appreciate being blessed to experience them thus far.  I am never critical when others cannot appreciate the beauty of age, but I LOVE being blessed to grow older. I know I have had some close calls, and some close calls I never knew I experienced...(thank you Lord)

Thanks everyone for bidding me well on my birthday.
