What a time for yoyeurs and those who like to be watched, to say nothing of work for willing escorts.

Get a gander of this.   They don't teach this stuff in history class, that's fer sure.

where the tradition started that when the judge enters the courtroom, the deputy would yell out, "All rise."  This allowed the judge in many cases to rule immediately by summary judgment in favor of accused males.  Although these cases no longer appear in the courts, the tradition of "All rise" remains.  

I thought this came from the old instruct "all RINSE" when bowls of water were left in front of all visitor seats I. court  so people could clean themselves.
